"Our family was in Cleveland last weekend for our son's graduation. As expected, almost all hotels were already booked. However, we preferred to stay in a home with a kitchen to cater to our restricted diets. Kristen's Carriage House was the perfect choice since it was close to CWRU and also to our son's apartment. "Cottage is very clean with one exception, the exhaust fan in the bathroom could use a little attention. I was excited because it was described as a "Lakeside cottage", but the outside really needs some TLC. Nice if you are the indoor type, but not much outside appeal."

"This lake front cottage was beautiful, very clean and freshly painted. We enjoyed watching the waves and boats on Lake Erie, and wonderful sunsets. Jenna, the owner, was exceptionally hospitable and welcoming. The cottage is located in a quieter region of the Cleveland metro area, within a short drive of attractions like downtown Cleveland, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland Art and Natural History Museums and the Cleveland Botanical Gardens. "The place was as shown in the listing. But the bedroom layout was such that there were no side tables or small lamps. Made it hard to read or have a place for your glasses or phone. We were not able to log in to WiFi as the provided password did not work for us. There were two TVs but you needed to bring your own streaming sign in and passwords to watch anything."

"Good location for us, golf and grocery store nearby. Fan in bedroom needs to be replaced. It was too noisy to use at night. Would have been nice to have patio furniture cleaned as it was dirty enough we couldn't really use it. Main con was there are no curtains on the windows in the living and kitchen areas so people staying in the main house can easily see into the cottage at night. The bedroom had shutters so was private."
