"Brendan at the front desk was very kind and helpful. The property is new so it’s nice. Hallways smelled like old greasy fried food because people cook in the rooms. This hotel is part of the extended stay family so it is more apartment like. Because of this, they do not have a pool, ice machines, or serve breakfast. They do have ice cube trays in the freezer though. The beds were comfortable, but the blankets are not high quality. It’s those brown scratchy blankets on the beds. Room was spacious, but smelled slightly like Body odor. Overall the room was clean, comfortable, spacious and had a 2 burner stovetop, microwave, kitchen sink, and full size fridge. Again, this is a good property, especially if you need to stay for a longer period of time. I would not choose to stay here again because I prefer a more traditional hotel but would recommend to those looking for a place to stay 5 days or longer. "

"My room was moved to a "pet friendly room". I was ok with that until I went in the room. Pet friendly rooms should have a bordered platform under the box spring so cats cannot get under there. The material under the boxsprings were torn and half of it laid on the floor. Looked very tacky. Before I brought my cat in I looked under the beds with a flashlight. They were absolutely filthy with a sticky trap for bugs under each bed. If a cat put a paw in there to investigate a dead critter, its paw would stick to it and it would be painful to try and get it off. Therefore, I had to keep my cat in a pent up cage so he would not get dirty since I was there for a cat show. The beds were so old that when you went to lay down, you were in a deep indentation where everyone else had been sleeping. Very, very uncomfortable. The manager was not helpful at all. "No other rooms available" she said. I had reserved the room through a 3rd party, so not a good chance of getting my money back. She would not even give me a mop or broom to sweep under the bed. I will never stay at another La Quinta again. This is the second La Quinta that had a filthy room."

"Super clean, quiet, central hotel. Enjoyed outdoor fire pit and downstairs Starbucks. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Knoxville who needs to be walking distance to everything. "
