"On a short-term work assignment, I was looking for somewhere I could feel at home - and I found it. Perfect size for one, immaculately clean and tidy, comfy and cozy! Lynda has been a wonderful host - especially for me being new to the area. Great location - literally a ten second walk to the beach - and away from the hustle and bustle of town. Thoroughly recommend - will come back again!"

"i really liked the property boss/manager, from the moment i walked in to the moment i left he was so polite & overall very welcoming.. five stars for the price & comfort i had in the room, loved my nice soak in the spa tub & heating in the room was perfect! "Excellent property. Kids love the bunks and being across rd from beach and playground. Unit is great size for families and has everything you need for a mini break or longer stay. Good wifi. Recommend also the walking distance cafe and restaurant."

"Stayed in a cabin which was extremely clean and spacious with everything you would need for a stay of a few days. The river walk path into town is literally a few feet away. Quiet, safe, and convenient location. Will be near the top of the list for future trips to Whakatane."
