Great proximity to beach

The partial view from unit 1 could only be seen if you stood in the right position outside on the balcony and then you could just see some ocean. The apartment had all the facilities, however it is getting a little dated and in need of maintenance. The fans had dust on top and the bedroom fan control ...

The host was welcoming and the location was great. We were able to take our elderly dog. He had a great time with walks across the road in the park and on the beach. We loved the swimming and walks too.

Ohope is just far enough from Whakatane to be close enough to quickly drive over for shopping. Not too many choices for food, we ate at two of the about 4 places to eat in the village and were not disappointed. Main road is very busy so take care.

Awesomw beach. The is why you go to Ohope. Plus Ohope has a lovely little shopping and cafe area.
The Mexican restaurant was delicious, safe swimming beach.
Location great for families or couples looking for some time out. Safe beach and lots of white sand.
