But here I go: I’ve stayed at multiple Amsterdam Inns and the Sussex one is consistently perfect! Clean, quiet, comfortable, great value, kind staff, great location. Ask for the 1st floor if you can’t do the stairs. I’ll return for sure!!"

"Hillside Haven should be known as Hillside Heaven because that is what it was for us. My husband and I and our two little dogs enjoyed our three day stay very much. The little house was much more spacious than you could imagine from the pictures. There is lots of privacy - no one can see you in the hot tub from the road. The view is only woods in all directions. It was very easy to relax outside with a wood fire in the outdoor fireplace and so many birds singing in the trees. It is located just a skip down the road from Poley Mtn and a few minutes from charming downtown Sussex. Everything you needed in a rental was provided, including a Keurig coffee maker AND a drip coffee pot with paper filters. The hot tub and the house were in new condition, well maintained, and very clean. We appreciated that the host texted us several times during our stay to make sure all was good. We would definitely book here again. "

"We were up graded from studio to 2 bedroom cottage because hot tub at studio wasn't working; we appreciated this. The cottage was clean and the beds comfy! The area is beautiful and quiet. The sight of the Bald Eagle, sitting in a tree over the lake, was a bonus. "
