"We stayed one night and had a great stay. Staff was kind. Everything was well-maintained and the breakfast was amazing! We weee about a 20 min walk from the capitol building and we were further from other DC attractions so we took an uber. "

"Loved the room refresh. Always had restocked coffee and water. The only thing to mention is could hear elevator go up and down. Not a problem for me I am a solid sleeper. But good to be aware for those that could bother. My room was 515"

"Very clean and excellent customer service. The beds were very comfortable and overall, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very conveniently located as well. A few things could use updating (mirrors, fixtures), but the hotel is very charming and Via Sophia is amazing!"

"The room was large, kitchen was a plus. Bed was nice and pillows were plentiful. Air conditioner worked wonderfully, as it was extremely hot outside. Parking could have been better, I had to park in the GW Garage. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you or you may not get back in. The restaurant on site was a nice touch, but the food was bland."

"They have done a good job restoring a historic property but in some areas, notably the elevators, it’s a work in progress. Friendly staff and I like that they have doormen. Very nice hotel. "
