Carousel Resort Hotel & Condominiums

2/10 Terrible

"Worst experience I’ve had to date. Housekeeping was a joke. The room wasn’t clean. Not enough towels for how many guests we had. The balcony was absolutely disgusting it was sticky, there were things melted on it and gum. The air conditioning felt cold and sticky in the room there was no way to adjust it. The drawer handles were sticky. We weren’t given anything at check in for pool codes, so not disturb, maps for the property nothing. I went down to tell them about the balcony and showed photos. They assured someone would be up to clean it within 10 minutes. It was two hours and it was still sticky after. At checkout I said I was there to checkout, he asked me what room and that was it said you’re good. No print out of itemized list, I had to ask for it. And he didn’t even ask how our stay was. Gave me the paper and looked back down. That was just a summary. We will not be going back. At all. Do not recommend."

"Check in process was easy and room was clean. However, we were down during Senior Week (no issue with that) for a baseball tournament. But our first night there, for a place that supposedly enforces their "quiet hours" there was nothing quiet about it. We also witnessed kids throwing up over the balcony into the parking lot as we were walking back from the beach. Additionally, we also had issue with other rooms of the recently graduated throwing stuff over the balcony (buckets of water, trash, etc) while we were down below. Other than proximity to the beach, I would not recommend this hotel for a family with children or if you want a relaxing time while you're at the beach. One of the cheaper hotels on the street but we found out the hard way why that was."

"This was not the best stay we had here. Room wasn’t cleaned during our stay. I had to call for clean towels (3 times till they came). Fitness Center and Ashore things (the grab and go place) wasn’t open which was an inconvenience. We did eat at the hotel twice and it was fine, but honestly underwhelmed by both the food and the service."

"The desk personnel were incredible, the service staff should be terminated at once. We had issues with no batteries in the remote , one remote had no back, we had to constantly bug the staff about towels, and we asked the service crew to find a broom so we could sweep our floor because of the sand . The lady said she had to go get the broom and she would sweep the floor as part of the service. Floor was never swept and when my Wife asked her about the flood she said she forgot . I will never stay at the Caymans again and neither will I endorse anyone staying there ."
