"We stayed here for a couple of nights for a long weekend exploring the Yorkshire Wolds. The location is great, being close to a few larger towns like Driffield and Pocklington, but also close to some amazing walking including a stretch of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The room was really lovely, the staff friendly, and the food and beer fantastic. We will definitely stay again when we're next out this way! "

"The lodge and location was outstanding. Situated on Heron Lakes looking across one of the 6 lakes on site with stunning views. Great location to get to the coast and plenty to do on site with walked, bike trails and of course fishing! Great short break away and will be staying here again. Plenty of free parking immediately outside hotel room. Room was great size on the ground floor but with fencing in front of the windows for privacy which I loved. Big bathroom great shower. Bed very comfortable. Coffee and tea facilities. Quiet room despite a few events being held in a hall opposite. Great location for me visiting family. Definitely recommend.
WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND A CAR I think it would be difficult to reach using public transport. Expensive using Taxi/ Uber "
