Seabird Lodge

"Screen could be opened on window... Chemicals rather than tiny sealed milk for coffee. Checkin at 4pm. Why not 7 or 9pm at night? Many places offer checkout at noon and checkin at 2. Your checkout is 11. A five-hour window? Basically a good motel 6, with a decent breakfast (that is, eggs and sausages). Best is being near the Denny's that I tried for the first time in decades and had wild salmon for $13.39 (on 55+ menu)."

"The room was nice, bed was comfortable. Our television barely worked, most of the different television stations were not viewable, especially (an unfortunately for us), the ones we were particularly interested in watching. Called the office who sent someone to look into it for us but was unable to do anything about it or get better reception."

"Their hot water was out for two days and they said they needed a part for the system. They did give me a little discount for the inconvenience. They have a good breakfast. Pillowtop beds but I had to ask for extra pillows. They don't tidy the room daily so I needed to ask for towels and toilet paper. Overall it was a good place."

"Very nice small casino. Private poker room for those of you that enjoy that. Several table games, in addition to the normal slot machines. Hotel room was large and clean, and very nice. The only reason I did not give five stars was the price. The property is significantly overpriced in my opinion for the rooms."

"Property is lovely, and the rooms were great. Updated walk-in showers, and nice bathrooms. Patio was spacious and perfect view of the ocean. Lots of parking. Staff was kind and even gave great coffee suggestion when asked where to get a good coffee in the morning. Close to beach front spots to chill, and enjoy a good sunset. Unfortunately we didn’t have time for the pool or hot tub, but it looked nice. Casino was clean, and had newer games. Blackjack table was only $5!! Chill vibes, and attentive staff. A little something for everyone. Restaurant was lacking, and wouldn’t go back. Customer service was non existent, and they will avoid you. No refills, no checking in after food had been delivered, and had to ask for our bill after sitting for a good amount of time. This was on a slow evening. Food was not good (steak, chicken fried steak, fettuccine Alfredo, pizza )Maybe it’s worth checking out their daily specials, or breakfast? Would definitely go back to the hotel and casino, hard pass on the restaurant."

Motel 6 Fort Bragg, CA

"First and foremost, this Motel 6 is in a very convenient location in Fort Bragg - close to everything locally & a very easy stop if you are only passing through. The property/rooms are showing their age and associated wear and tear, but repair work seems to be underway. In the meantime, the basics needed for a comfortable stay are covered! The heater/AC unit worked well. Water got hot quickly (and stayed hot) in both shower and sink. The water pressure in the shower was better than expected. The fridge was ice cold. The mattress was just fine. Plenty of parking, safe and well-lit. I felt ok leaving a few things in the car overnight and had no issues. Most of the staff were friendly. I love that dogs stay free at Motel 6!! Lastly, fresh, hot coffee in the lobby starting at 6am was greatly appreciated."
