"The hotel is old but has been redone inside but most hotels by the fishermans wharf are. Location is great if you want to be near fishermans wharf, Giradelli Square. Area appeared safe even at night. Close to transporation we did not need a car during our stay. The best thing about this hotel is the staff, all greet you nicely, gave great tips , have free snacks for guests."

"We had an amazing time at the hotel. The staff were great and ready to help. Anything we were needing was addressed quickly, even during Super Bowl weekend. I was expecting lag at some point but was very pleasantly surprised it was all smooth sailing. Extra kudos to Ben for making our stay a very enjoyable and personal experience. The hotel is a couple easy blocks from the Warf so it was very convenient. Make sure the enjoy the outdoor fire pits if you decide on a night in."

"Friendly staff, nice and clean rooms, breakfast was very good and reasonably priced compared with hotel brands I’ve been to before (similar to Hilton Garden Inn). Hotel was a Four Points but is experiencing a rebranding. My group also loved the hot tub and pool, and they said the burger from the Tavern was a hit! Very great place to stay if visiting San Rafael or just passing through on 101. I’d definitely book again in the future. "
