Relaxed unassuming atmosphere. Bed very comfortable. Cottage feel. sits in lovely peaceful area, also within walking distance to shops. Maybe bring ear plugs if very light sleeper as a little noise when pub closes. Would book again
The room was clean & as we were Room only we did not require any `Services`.
The only chair in the room had loose legs & whoever fitted the bedroom doors was not a Joiner as the gap was wide at one end allowing the draft under & over the door. The Heating appeared to be set on a Timer as at different times of the day the heating was off. However the Location was important to us & that was ideal.

Couldn’t connect to WiFi, no cooked breakfast & the stairs are really steep so no good to disabled.
The B&B staff were lovely but the room was not good. It smelt of damp and the bed wasn’t at all comfortable. The local area was nice with 2 good pubs in walking distance. Breakfast is continental with a few hot options such as omelette or beans on toast. I had scrambled egg which was good.
Lovely BNB in the centre of Cramlington.
The receptionist was very nice and welcoming. I stayed for a night prior to a job interview. The place was calm. The room was clean and tidy.
Just a few things that would have made my stay even better:
- a desk in the room would have been nice, even a small one
- the joints in the shower could to with cleaning/redoing
- bacon for breakfast would have been perfect

One night stay
This was a one night stay and overall there were no issues. The basics were in place. However, perhaps the property could do with a little updating. The paintwork was tired and looked like it could do with refreshing and perhaps if curtains were added in the room this would provide a softer more welcoming feel. Nothing major but perhaps would refresh the general standard.
Shower not working at all and hanging out of plaster wall.
Drawers and wardrobe insides not dusted or wiped out (grit dust and small spiders)
Sharp tack sticking out of carpet join, still hurts!
Large spiders in other room, most had been there a while.
BREAKFAST!! Lady went to great lengths to explain it was a continental breakfast, my fault for not checking no hot food as price was so expensive!
No meats or cheeses, coffee tin was empty.
A discount was spoken about, just checked my account and full amount for two rooms has gone out! £160 that Quarry House will not get from me ever again!
This review is done after a stay of one night in August. On approach to the building we noticed a broken lamp on the wall, the cigarette bin was overflowing and as we got to the entrance door there were some christmas decorations on display. On entering there was an off-cut of carpet which was curled up over the step in. We were given our key and shown to our room where we just left our bags and went out for the rest of the day. On returning we had a better look at our room, everywhere seemed to be dusty, the top of the wardrobe was thick with it, there was a reddish/brown stain on the carpet in front of the chest of drawers. The towels were a dark grey colour and not very good quality (or old). The bedding was decidedly grotty looking. A chair stood at the side of the drawers had a broken leg. The toilet in the bathroom had brown stains in the bowl, marks on the outside of it and was thick with dust where it was screwed to the floor. When using the shower I found a discarded razor blade cover on the shelf, the top of the waste bin was thick with dust, the floor did not look clean. At breakfast there were more forgotten christmas decorations, the place mats were not clean. Even the wording over the entrance door was wrong breakfast was spelt BREKFAST. This is definatly not a 3 star B & B.
Central to Cramlingtonl, in cul-de-sac, quiet as set back from road, good sized single room, ensuite in top condition, bed comfortable, good in room teamaking facilities, highly recommend this place
Room wasn't clean but beds were comfy.
Family room was spacious.
No hairdryer or hooks to hang towels.
Breakfast was like something in a youth hostel -wouldn't recommend anyone pays the extra for it.
We came for a family Christening in the Church opposite to the B&B, so location was perfect. The young man who greeted us on arrival helped carry our suitcase to our room and was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the view of the village from the windows were lovely. We used the TV and WiFi provided which was very useful. I wouldn't hesitate to use this B&B again.

North East B+B
Conveniently located with easy access to Blyth and Newcastle. A little disappointed with the value of breakfast given what was on offer, hence opted to have room only. A minor discomfort was promptly addressed providing an overall pleasant stay.
Stayed for 3 nights over Easter Weekend. Room very comfortable and breakfast provided despite appeared to have booked room only. Odd for a B&B but no issues getting breakfast - would recommend.
The hotel was comfortable and the service was good. The cooked breakfast was disappointing, as the sausages were frankfurter type that I do not like. The local pub nearby was very friendly.
Quiet little 8-room BnB in a small village, it was great for us as we were visiting family in the area. The weather was snowy, so it was very convenient that the BnB was only a stone throw away from a couple of pubs meaning we didn't need to drive in the icy road conditions
