We used one room. Hotels.com charged us for one room and the hotel charged us for a second room. We discovered this had happened when we were given two bills at check out. The hotel agent said only the manager could refund the second charge. She didn't return my calls, but did refund half the charge for the second room, this admitting their mistake. But the hotel won't refund the rest of the money they owe us. We contacted Marriot corporate for help, but all they do is try to work with the manager to resolve the issue. Apparently she's not returning their calls, either.
