Great gathering place
We had a great time at this house. Beds are comfortable, house was clean, hostess was accommodating and house was stocked. The only wish I had was that the sitting area had a little more comfortable seating.

Unique Stay
We stayed with our family of 10. Having 3 king size beds was a big selling point for us while the kids having 2 awesome bunk beds in the back bedroom was a huge plus. We were in town for a family wedding and getting to and from everything was easy enough. We all had sound machines and this helped with the music from the place close by but we did however still hear the train. They aren’t supposed to blow the horn through the night but someone forgot to tell the engineers our first night This house is adorable with anything you could imagine you might need. Very spacious bathrooms and bedrooms. It was equipped with some infant items that were nice to have and we even could’ve left our pack n play at home. The house is with-in walking distance to some super cute shops and little bakeries. The additional parking in the back was nice since we had three vehicles.

The house was so cute, clean, and neatly laid out for privacy and function. The front porch is perfect for relaxing and socializing, and the location is ideal for walking around downtown. Highly recommend and will stay again if anywhere near the area!

We loved our stay on the property. The house has been beautifully redone. The house is fully stocked - keurig, plates, bedding, games, etc. The property manager is super wonderful and lives close by. The house is right off the town sqaure and in walking distance to EVERYTHING! Would absolutely recommend this place.

Great location and a charming house! We had a group of ten -- plenty of beds, parking and room. Only wish is for a bigger grill. Timing was hard, as the grill is extremely small.

Awesome!
Perfect house for our party of 10 in the perfect location to float the Comal river. The house was clean & well kept. We cooked in which was no problem since the kitchen is well stocked. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone headed to New Braunfels! We has a wonderful time!

Belle is Beautiful
The property is immaculate and has been restored to 19th century design and appearance, a true piece of New Braunfels history. Leslie makes check in and out a breeze and the home had all the amenities you might require during your stay. The property is located one block from central New Braunfels and has immediate access to bakeries and diners and is roughly a quarter mile to the Comal River and parks making it perfect for summer time activities. Unfortunately there are train tracks nearby that were busier than anticipated and a noisy bar one block to the east which played live music easily heard from the front two bedrooms.This may not be a deal breaker for some visitors but it was inconvenient for us.

We enjoyed the deer in the back and front yards. Beautiful antiques. Nice combination of older styles and modern conveniences! Enjoyed the live music nearby at just the right background level. It’s just a short walk to restaurants, bars, shops, and the railroad museum.

Downtown get away
This house is perfect for groups wanting to visit NB and enjoy the night life. It’s a little loud on weekend nights but you won’t even notice if you are enjoying the scene right! The house is clean, well stocked and is a really neat historical stay. This is our second stay at the house and we will be back.

Lovely antique home in great location
We rented this home for our annual Comal float trip. It was in an unbeatable location right in downtown New Braunfels. Check in and checkout was a breeze, beds were comfy. There was space for us all. Plenty of towels and parking too. We would definitely stay here again!

50th birthday celebration
Myself, hubby, and 3 other couples stayed at this house for my husbands 50th birthday bash!! We had an amazing time. Walking distance to several fun little bar/live musics spots. The host was VERY timely in her communication and offered lots of info for food places and other hot spots to hit up for drinks and live music. We loved the house. Super cute!! Lots of room for 8 adults. Spacious rooms and VERY comfortable beds. Even in the bunk room the 2 adults in there slept very comfortable and said they had best room in the house. We loved it. Even had some friends over one night for playing music/guitar, dancing on the AMAZING PORCH in front of home, and hanging out enjoying some drinks. Memories were for sure made and we would definitely hit this home up again for our next river trip!!! The amenities in the home were fully loaded. AWESOME PLACE TO STAY!!! Thank you so much Leslie!!!

Wonderful location and beautiful house
Rented for my daughter’s bachelorette. Owner was wonderful. Answered all our questions very quickly. All the amenities you could imagine…more than any other VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. Only thing I would note is there is a train track very close by and it’s fairly loud at night in 2 of the bedrooms. . But they do provide ear plugs which helped immensely. Would definitely recommend this property. Walking distance to so many restaurants and clubs.

Great experience for a 3 generation family vacation.
We were a family of grandma and grandpa, 2 grown kids with spouses, and 5 grandkids, so 11 in total. The house worked well for us. The large table allowed all of us to eat together. The location allowed for us to go in different directions as needed. River tubing for the older kids, children’s museum for the younger, all within walking distance. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The common living room area with the TV is a little small. But the pictures are accurate, so you can judge for yourself. There is only one TV in the main area. But when the kids wanted a TV show, we could move to the large front porch which was a great spot to relax with plenty of seating. Leslie was a great host, very communicative, and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Almost Perfect!
This historic house was very cute and nice size rooms for an older house. It is very close to things around town and were able to walk to Texas Tubes from the house. This defiantly saved on parking for us. We may have had the luck of the draw and I am a very lite sleeper but the trains going through at night did wake me up a few times. It is a no-whistle zone so that helps but If you are a light sleeper may be an issue or don't take the front bedroom :). The host provided ear plugs which was nice if you're not into the live music at night it may get a little loud for you on the weekend. Again those are my only complaints, but other than that the house fit our needs. Beds were comfortable and towels were fully stocked. We had plenty of room for our group of 10 adults. The backyard had plenty of room for games, not sure how many Kan Jam games we were able to get in. We will be back again hopefully next year.

Overall the location and house was great. Everything was clean, comfortable, and close to what you want to see in New Braunfels. We were a group of 11 that stayed at the location for one night after walking to the Comal for a float down the river. Also, the owners were nice enough to let us check in a few hours early. However, there were a few things that were concerning to myself and the fellow guests. 1. After returning to the house after floating the river, it appeared to us that someone outside of our group had been in the house and had cleaned up a few things without notification 2. In the middle of the night after myself and the guests returned to the house, we were sitting down on the couch when the owners walked in unannounced to "check-on us". There had not been any kind of warnings, noise complaints or emergencies that would warrant an intrusion into our personal space. 3. Following our stay the owners contacted me for an additional payment of a $15 cleaning fee for a "spill on the front porch". Neither myself or the other guests knew of any spill so I requested a picture or some kind of verification but the owner was unable to provide one. Like I said previously, for the most part it was a great stay, I would just hope that these concerns will be addressed for future guests.

James, about six of your guests were in the dining area, when I told you all that table needs to stay dry or it will water spot. You went out and left the table with standing water. That did not earn my trust so I came by later to check on it again. I plan to have a sealer put on the table but have not do so yet. Yes, there was beer spilled in a large area on the porch. We work hard to keep our three VRBOs in shape for guests. We expect guests to treat the home the way they would one that they own themselves.

This property is absolutely beautiful and well maintained, liked stepping back in time with a modern twist. Don't let the adjacency of the train worry you, it didn't bother us at all. My family, friends and I stayed here for a wedding that was close by. The house is very clean, the property manager was very responsive and granted us access a few hours early so that we could unwind after travel and dress before the event. The house provided plenty of space for 6 adults and everything was comfortable. Location was perfect; we were within walking distance of the venue and felt safe doing so late at night.

This property was absolutely what the pictures and landowner described. Check In was so simple and owner responds quickly. Upon arrival deer can be seen in town and in yards assuring the peace the community offers. The home is very clean and was a perfect match for our large group of ladies who Bible study together. The beds are comfortable and the home is just exquisite. The walk to town and to the river is a very short distance and if you enjoy morning and evening walks the home is situated a perfect distance from the river. Though the train is less than a block away the respect of the train never disturbs those who live near. In case you are a very light sleeper the landowner supplies individual earplugs for guests. The train moves very quietly down tracks and the horns never blew when we stayed. The homes location offers so much convenience to walk into town for most needs. We truly enjoyed the large table at night for board games and cards. The front porch is so peaceful for morning coffee. Thank you for sharing your home with us and may others be as blessed as we were to experience it.
