The staff were all very friendly including the kitchen staff. The fact that they are dog friendly makes my life easier as I have a therapy dog. Overall, great experience and will absolutely be returning soon!!

The decor was super cool. Property is beautiful! Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was amazing!!! The only issue is the shower leaked through the door which turned the bathroom into a pond when either of us showered. Staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to get us checked in a tad earlier and held our luggage so we could explore!

I really thought i was staying inside the house when booking . but i was put in a room at the back side . The did switch my room so I could get a balcony with a view . The room was very nice. But the parking lot was noisy and you could here the kitchen staff. The morning had a nice construction truck backing up with that beeping to wake you up. The food was not good very very disappointed for the price. I've had better flat bread pizza at a chain and that is saying a lot. The restaurant staff was wonderful .

The room itself was disappointing. No dresser to put clothes in, one small rack over the refrigerator to hang clothes, very tiny bathroom with no shelves or anything to put your items on. Not what we expected.

Very cute updated rooms! Close to lots of places, although quite a few things seemed to be closed in October- no fault of the hotel, just us not realizing there is an "off season"

We really enjoyed our recent stay at The Shore House. The room was clean and very comfortable. We had a great view of the water, and had a great night of sleep. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here again.

Sink is quaint in looks but water splashes onto the floor!! Otherwise it’s clean and comfortable and view of the ocean is gorgeous!!

Wonderful stay and we will definitely do it again. I wouldn’t book it thru Expedia though bc you don’t get the room you think you are getting. You end up in a back building motel-like room. We upgraded so that we were actually in the Inn.

Horrible experience. Not worth money. Setting misleading as pictured. Not cottage overlooking beach. Impossible to sleep. So noisy. Tv in room Next door and other noises sounded like they were in the room. Heard people above us constantly. No chair to sit on in room. Not super clean. Very disappointing. I know restaurant is separate but wife was told meal was gluten free and it was not and got very sick.

Shower head was very difficult to adjust. Wound up just holding it while showering. Sink was very difficult to use as the ledge over it doesn’t allow for you to bend over to reach the sink. The faucet on the sink was adjustable but we only learned this after it sprayed out of the sink. The bed was very hard and sagged on one side. The screen on the patio door was broken and difficult to move. The padding that serves as a headboard moves in the night and pushes over onto the very small nightstand making a mess.

Paying $243. for "Oceanside King with Patio" on a Sunday night, off season, only to discover the room was in a separate building located BEHIND the main establishment. No OCEAN VIEW, first floor room, in a building technically called a MOTEL. "Private" patios and balconys separated by sheets" View only of the parking lot and the back of the Shore House and their kitchen dumpsters/housekeeping equipment. Very disappointing, the young man at the front desk was very helpful, but when my only options were stay in a dark overpriced closet with a bed or PAY AGAIN TO UPGRADE TO THE HOTEL ROOM YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE GETTING IN THE FIRST PLACE! "All booked up, No more rooms, Hurricane outside, Sorry, sorry, sorry". You do see where I'm going with this. So out comes the VISA and I'm PAYING AGAIN. One is never left with a nice feeling when they feel they've been "taken for a ride" or a bit hustled. I I was just looking for some peace and quiet, some time to myself. Ya know, it's not the end of the world. It's just annoying sometimes and then you move on.

Clean, comfortable rooms. We had lunch at the restaurant when we arrived and everything was delicious. Good coffee in the morning, complimentary for guests. Close to the beach, which is exactly what we wanted. You could park your car and walk or bike to everything you'd want to do in Naragansett.

We stayed in a tiny room (#12) that was fine but the mattresses were very uncomfortable! We did not sleep very good for 2 nights. The hotel really needs an upgrade for the beds. They need some hooks in the bathroom to hang towels or clothes otherwise you have to put everything on the floor. They had one rack for a towel. The floors were sandy so I don’t think they had been vacuumed or swept very carefully. The restaurant was ok but very pricey! The people that worked at the hotel were very nice.

It was ok. I love Narragansett Beach.
The Shore house calls themselves, Oceanside, not to be confused with an Ocean Front… It’s deceptive. Hi Marye, our property is 100% ocean front. Some rooms do have partial view and a few others no view. But all the rooms have the details when you book. The rooms with a Ocean view has a gorgeous sunrise show for the early birds. There is always half and half, if you walked in a moment when the agents were brewing coffee, they could have restock. They were short staffed, confused about our prepaid reservation and pet but did accommodate with a pet deposit and a LOT of rules-they don’t really like pets (even small dogs) there. And they have a lot of rules they are bossy about. They didn’t get to cleaning our room one day due to staff shortage but did supply fresh towels etc. Not the best with a dog at a beach?

Location was stellar. Room was bright, clean. Ample space, refrigerator, comfortable bed and bedding. Negatives as reported by others were thin walls, constant recycling of air conditioning blowing right at the bed, trying to get the shower not to flood the whole bathroom, and lack of room darkening shades.

The hotel is located in a great area and almost all the rooms have a spectacular views, specially the front rooms. The hotel staff was awesome during our stay. My only complain is the room layout/features considering the high price. For instance, the sink is very oddly placed and almost impossible to reach. The rooms don't really have a closet, instead you hang your clothe next to the fridge, which is very odd. The shower doors didn't fully close therefore a lot of water would come out. Overall it was a satisfactory stay.

My check-in experience was extremely poor. My room would not lock. As a solo pregnant woman traveler I felt extremely unsafe. When I asked to be put in a room that locks, the front desk offered me a downgraded room when the room I was checking into tomorrow was available tonight. He was extremely insulting, unhelpful, and rude. Following this, I asked for a refund since he could not accommodate me and I could not stay in my original room. After 1 hr of trying to find a safe and equivalent resolution to the point I’m in tears at the front desk, I was given a room and had to carry my luggage around by myself from my initial room to the new room through a gravel parking lot and up 3 flights of stairs. I’ve been so looking forward to this stay and it’s off the a terrible start. After how I was treated, I don’t even feel comfortable or safe to stay here anymore but have already paid so much.
