We so enjoyed our anniversary stay at this lovely boutique hotel. Beautiful gardens, Well appointed room (a Villa), gorgeous dining room, and professional staff! When we bumped into it online, we new it was just perfect for us! Our dinner in the Saphire Room was certainly the highlight. It was fabulous. Excellent service and meal! We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay! My only “complaint” is that we couldn’t stay longer. This is a beautiful heritage, boutique hotel with luxurious bedding and linens, fine furniture and bath products and spacious rooms. The staff were friendly and kind. Highly recommend!

Arrival was impressive. A friendly woman welcomed us and handed over a helpful information package with everything we needed. The room was super clean with a nice bathtub sitting close to the window. The view is amazing! The bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly. There is a heritage forest right at the back of the hotel with walking trails well maintained. Beach is not far and we can walk down there in a few minutes. The hotel looks great from outside with beautiful gardens! We will definitely come back in the future.

Fantastic staff! Excellent food in the restaurant. Great location for a walk down to the beach or into the heritage forest that borders the property or into town. Great ocean view from the Rita Hayworth room. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful dinner in the Hotel. 10 out of 10. Great Waiter and fantastic food. My compliments to the Chef!! View is an added bonus in the Saffire Room. Our room was very comfortable as was the bed.

First of all this was top 3 of my favorite hotels of all time. It is extremely beautiful inside, and the outside grounds are stunning. We saw 3 deer eating the trees and grass outside so that was an extra cute bonus. The staff were so kind and helpful. We had the Brown Family Suite room 212 which was beautiful (it even had 2 bathrooms !!) SO CLEAN!! The housekeeping staff does an amazing job. The toiletries provided were great and I loved that they had black cloths to take off your makeup with. There is a coffee maker in the room with cream in the fridge and various sweeteners. They put a glass bottle of water in the fridge every day which was so lovely, as it was quite hot while we were there. The area around the property is quiet and so nice for relaxing. The games room was super cute and the restaurant looked lovely and had an amazing menu, but we unfortunately weren't able to eat there this trip. It is very close to the center of town and only a couple minutes away from the beach. We will stay here again without a doubt! Thank you all so very much!

Nice location, gardens and house. However, I was given a room with no window (or rather the window was in the bathroom). As a result, all night long there was a loud ceiling fan which could not be switched off and kept me awake. Apparently it is the only room like that - but it was definitely not a good night, and I would not return.

What a lovely place to stay in Qualicum! Lots of little attention to details (real cream in the fridge), lotion at the ready, snacks, coffee, etc. Spacious room size and 2 lovely reading chairs and a super comfortable bed!

To begin with the welcoming lady was amazing, going above and beyond to make sure we understood all the locks and security. (I know realize she was working overtime, as they have limited guest hours). *** read that entire disclaimer as I didn’t come to realize we were very lucky. This wonderful lady stayed for our arrival, she didm’t have to. Gave us an amazing tour of the house and our room where John Wayne Stayed back in the day. Lots of stars stayed in this mansion. Room amazingly quite big with 4 poster king bed, seating, fridge, coffee, free snacks, snd water in fridge . The entire place and our suite was so clean, loved the extra service when we were out of the room. Such a beautiful gem, loved everything, we will be back! Beautiful partial view of golf course in front , with ocean in the distant view. Thank you. Ps we didn’t dine at the beautiful restaurant, next time we will make reservations.

Beautiful heritage property. Comfortable bed, large and spacious bathroom. Seating in the room was not accessible if you are also wanting to watch the tv. Friendly staff. Very clean.
