"Lovely house with great facilities in a fantastic location. There was a little hair in the upstairs shower and the kettle tripped the electricity but no real issues. The property manager was very helpful and communicated with us regularly but the VRBO chat only worked occasionally on my phone while we were there and so I was not always able to reply."

"This is a very nice, well-equipped house very close to the sea. Villaricos is a lovely town with plenty of bars and restaurants. There is also a bar/restaurant 2 mins walk along the beach. We really enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable house."

"The house is up for sale and it seems like it has been a little forgotten about in terms of maintenance and care. It's quite new but already looks quite run down. The area it is in is a building site (not great to look at but there were no noise disruptions during our stay) and a bit strange, maybe off-season but it felt abandoned and in disrepair. "The house is beautifully located with the sea right outside the living room window and the beach close by. The private roof terrace in the garage is a big plus. The house is a bit cold in winter but there is a fireplace and gas heating. All in all, a uniquely charming house with a large and nice kitchen and renovated bathroom."

"I stayed at the Universal for 11 nights. My room was clean, the sheets and blankets as good as new, and attended to every day. It was quiet with no traffic noise and the occasional sounds from other rooms stopped at a reasonable hour. The staff were all friendly, helpful and simpatico. The hotel is in an excellent location about 8 minutes walk to the Cathedral the heart of historic Murcia. The Universal is completely unpretentious, great value for money and I will definitely return."
