"Pros: Jurgen the host was very reactive to my messages and accommodating. Check in process was smooth & well organised. Place was secure and central with nice bakery/coffee shop around the corner Cons: Nothing to do with the property but good to know if future guests do not have a car;Taxi’s gps’ didn’t seem to be able to find the apartment (street seem to have been renovated incl a new cul de sac preventing car from driving straight through the street."

"Great place to stay right in the city. Very clean and modern. Great breakfast. We had a room with a terrace so had a great view over the city and port. Very quiet at night. Ate in the restaurant one evening. Food was really good and the staff were working very hard as quite busy. Restaurant staff and reception were all very helpful. Would definitely recommend."

"The Cano was a marvellous hotel providing everything a weary traveller could need, if not want. I had requested a room with a balcony, and that is what we got. The room itself was quite small, but it was very functional and the beds were very comfortable, and with the excellent air conditioning a good night's sleep was assured. Bathroom included shower and bath and even provided enough basic toiletries and toilet rolls for a couple of days. While we didn't avail of the breakfast (too early for us!), the area was bang in the middle of various top notch eating houses and a very large supermarket about 100 metres up the road. The towns main bus station was also a two minute walk up the road. In closing, this was a great hotel that I would have no trouble in recommending to anyone, and I'm already looking forward to a return visit in the near future."
