"This is a spacious family apartment with a good sized kitchen. Jose was very helpful and prompt on arrival. It would be ideal for a family holiday. Although it is basic, everything worked ok and plenty of hot water. The Kitchen was very well equipped and the gas hob worked although the oven looked unusable? "We love this place 2nd time back. Ideally situated easy free parking. Super super clean and a gorgeous smell. Staff all very friendly. Little apartment has kitchen with fridge, washing machine and TV. Balcony that looks out into garden and pool. The owner advised us the villa has had a complete makeover, freshly painted throughout, new bedding, air con and lots more besides. Plenty of Restaurants offering superb food at prices less than half of the UK! Large supermarket only two minutes away and lovely beaches just down the road. "The villa is so well equipped and kept to an amazing standard that we did not want to leave. The outside space is perfect for relaxing by the pool, a peaceful family bbq in the evening followed by drinks to watch the sunset. Everything in the villa was done to a high standard and it felt very safe and secure, we only ventured out for 1 day as we did not see the need to explore. We will definitely be returning in the future."

"It was a basic studio and was clean. Air con was good. Pool closes for 3 hours 2-5pm. Food in restaurant is very good and reasonable priced but for all the staff they have (5) service is terrible. I had to go bar and order in end as got sick of waiting even though it wasn’t busy. When we received meal i had to get up and ask for cutlery. No entertainment on night we stayed"

"Real estate is great, nicely located. Internal conditions not great. 2nd bath has very low water pressure.Bring your own water boiler for coffee. The one in the property has been calcified. Allow users access off hours, it is not easy to travel here. Leave a lockbox outside. Print draw bridge schedule, draw bridge broke twice within two days."

"Great, modern apartment in an area we are familiar with. Modern open plan kitchen, living and dining area. Dual aspect patio doors, we could step out directly to the pool area through the back doors and front doors led to a lovely private terrace, ideal for afternoon and evening sun. Two en-suite double bedrooms, there were just two of us, so used the second bedroom to store our suitcases. Communication with the owner and housekeeper was very prompt Would recommend"

"I stayed at the Universal for 11 nights. My room was clean, the sheets and blankets as good as new, and attended to every day. It was quiet with no traffic noise and the occasional sounds from other rooms stopped at a reasonable hour. The staff were all friendly, helpful and simpatico. The hotel is in an excellent location about 8 minutes walk to the Cathedral the heart of historic Murcia. The Universal is completely unpretentious, great value for money and I will definitely return."
