"3rd time staying here. First 2, excellent! This one, meh. Arrived at property, door code was incorrect, 2 of 4 (heavy) Adirondack chairs blocking the steps. Internet dismantled, water system dismantled, screen door busted. Must do better making sure property is ready! "

"We had a little mix up that was totally our fault and our hosts were so kind, understanding, and helpful in getting it sorted out with us. We very much enjoyed the cozy vibes of the cabin. Very little light pollution in this area, you will see all the stars! We very much enjoyed the higher end cleaning and bath products, and having the kitchenette really came in handy. This was our first VRBO experience and our hosts made it so great for us. We will definitely come back! "

"My 9 year old son and I had such a wonderful getaway at this cabin. It was so cozy and cute and had everything we needed and more. Most importantly to me, everything was so clean! "We were told when we arrived that our cabin was not available and we would be moved to a different cabin. We could have been notified about this at any point, but they neglected to do so until we arrived. So we go to this cabin and it looks pretty identical to the one we booked so we are prepared to make the best of it. Half of the cabin doesn't have power, so we contact the hosts with the number we were given at the check-in office. That initial conversation was insulting as if we were inconveniencing them by reaching out with our concerns. They then have us flipping breakers and trying to diagnose the electrical issues in the cabin. Nothing is working. At this point I'm thinking, why would you not check and make sure the cabin you are putting Us in is at the very least in proper working condition if you are unable to get us in the cabin that we reserved? They call us back and say that there is a different cabin we can go to. So we drive back and they give us keys to a cabin much closer to the office and way less secluded. Not at all what we wanted. We will still give another chance. The driveway is completely iced over, the only way to get our bags in from the car is to walkthrough planters in front of the building because the walkway is iced over as well. We get inside, and we decide we will take it. Then we notice it's infested with cockroaches. We dropped the key off and we headed home. Now I am fighting with vrbo for my refund. Thanks for the ruined weekend."

"I went completely out of my comfort zone and took a solo vacation with my dogs for the holiday. This cabin was absolutely perfect for a quiet, secluded, and relaxing getaway! I really enjoyed the beautiful backyard view and the hot tub. The dogs loved all of the space to run around in the front/side yard and explore the woods. I did keep them on leash at all times when down in the lower backyard area just to be safe because it is a bit scary for animals/young children if they get close to the edge but that’s an easy supervision fix. You are a 20-30 min drive to every big hiking area so it was a perfect drive each day to try out different trails. The cabin does have a slight pet odor to it, but it’s not bothersome if you are visiting with pets and the cabin was very clean overall. I hope to return again soon! Thank you for making it such a memorable Christmas trip! "

"The property is nice upon first look. However, the weather was cold this past weekend and the house seems to be very poorly insulated. The loft upstairs was so hot that the windows had to be opened at night. However the downstairs bathrooms were so cold that we all used the upstairs bathroom. The hot water heater seemed to not be working. The hot water would give out during even a short shower no matter the length of time between people needing to shower. We asked for maintenance to look at the water heater and they told us we just needed to wait longer between showers…. not what I would expect for why we paid for this cabin. Pretty disappointed and will not stay again. "
