"I hate loving this place so much! Now the wife wants a massage chair, a bigger bathtub and a hot tub. Maybe I can counter with a bigger TV. But there is nothing we can do to get the beautiful view and serenity that this place has."

"Great motel tucked away ! I traveled solo for this trip and was very surprised with how much I loved it ! The cabin feel in the room was just amazing ! All staff that I came in contact with were very friendly and even made recommendations for trails I should see while I was there. Cell service was very spotty if any at all but a great way to disconnect! Bed was comfortable TV was great. Loved that each room has chairs outside to relax and enjoy the view. Food was not as easy to find many restaurants that were open. I would definitely stay here again ! Also, the Daniel Boone Coffee Shop where you check in is super cute great local shop and food was very good and reasonably priced. "

"Beautiful area. The a frames are in a heavily wooded ravine making it very picturesque. The access road was very rough. I feel that needed a stronger warning in the description. When we had some issues management was very quick to respond and resolve the issues. Overall would stay with them again. "

"I did not get from description that bathrooms were not attached to sleeping areas. The shared outside pavilion was great. Hill to cabin was a mess, slipper, no steps, no lights. The first night we couldn't get a/c to work. Called maintenance, they came and said they fixed it. That same day the door code wouldn't work. Called maintenance. 3 hrs later they came and let us in. Battery was dead. They left and we figured out ac was still not working. The third day they got ac working. Definitely need 4wd. We saw multiple cars having problems getting up hills and trying to dodge craters."

"The cabin was amazing! It was quiet and peaceful there! i do recommend adding some fresheners though because when we did enter it had a weird smell, but nothing that I consider “bad”! thank you for having us!! "
"We loved the location but it could use some rock to fill in some potholes. The cabin was nice size and cleanliness was a 4 out of 5.
The back porch needs attention, we did not get in the hot tub, the water looked good but so many spider web on outside just takes away from the desire to get in. We spent our time on front porch next to the fire pit. We loved it out there at night. The staffed was on top of it and made sure we got checked in and had easy directions to find our cabin. Enjoyed our stay."
