Excellent location with easy access to a lot of the trails in the area and a short drive to Auxiers Ridge trails. The rooms could use some updating as they start to show regular aging and cleaning could be more in depth and reaching all surfaces. every staff is extremely nice and helpful. overall a great quality to price ratio.

Overall, room and stay were great. Staff was very helpful. Small leak from condensation from AC left a small puddle just inside the door. Placing a towel under it was enough that it didn’t become a problem. Always love being in Red River Gorge area.

Friendly people in a beautiful area! The views are amazing! The lodge is not too big, and not too small... and the architecture blends in nicely with the scenery. Our balcony was nice and deep! It was great to still be able to safely enjoy that sheltered sense of being up in the woods and watch as a summer rainstorm passed through the area.

Overall we had an excellent experience the only bad thing was the mattress in the room we stayed in. It was springy really bad and couldn't really sleep. If that's how you like your mattress hard and springs this is definitely the place for you. The food was good. I would recommend this place.

Older lodges so not up todate. Beds very comfortable and loved having balcony to sit outside even though it rained a lot. Meals were very good and much better than anywhere else in area also more reasonable priced Everyone very friendly and helpful!

You really are at a great spot in the middle of so many Gorge activities! However, the lodge is suffering from a lot of deferred maintenance. A stay here also comes with breakfast, but it was all reheated/packaged. Balconies are nice but kudzu has taken over a good part of the park, and your view is basically kudzu. I love KY resort parks, but this one is in need of an overhaul like Cumberland Falls is getting. If you like to park close, it can get tricky due to the fact that the lodge is also at a trailhead, so folks come park for the day and take up a good number of the spots.

It was a perfect location for trails and the gorge underground. Safe and clean with a restaurant on site. Many things to do. However, for the price I think a few upgrades to the room would have been beneficial. The air was a bit stuffy. The bathroom was completely outdated with rust. The air vents could have a good cleaning. Don’t get me wrong… it was clean and ultimately good for the night. The dinner was great!!! The staff were very kind and helpful.

Property was as described. We only booked a 1 night stay and got room on lower leval. Room was clean. Only issue was bathroom vent was not operational and toilet would not flush correctly. This was not a huge issue as we only were staying 1 night and didn't report issues to front desk till we left.
