The only thing to be aware of is the steep stairs the dogs mastered them but could be a good thing to be aware of if anyone is challenged. "House is adorable and newly renovated, located in a quaint fishing village. Fun and quiet place to explore, away from the Bar Harbor hustle and bustle. Really enjoyed being here! Nice to have access to kitchen and laundry. The only improvement we could think of is the check-in process; instructions weren’t fully accurate and had to work with local host to troubleshoot. Quick responses though, so easy enough to navigate. Might be easier on the host to just update their check-in instructions for future guests. "

"This place was fantastic to stay at. The pictures don’t do it justice. It was clean and spacious. We had everything we needed right in the house. The owner was very very nice. We highly recommend this place to stay and hope to book it again soon! "

"We just returned from our trip. First the location was excellent. The property is very picturesque and really afford the visitor great places to walk and truly see the coast of Maine. The host did a really good job in communicating with us and was respectful of our privacy. Concerning the condition and the amenities of the property…This home is a two family, which is fine however there were many things missing that were really would’ve been nice to have. It seems like the host may not have a lot of experience in hosting. To be quite honest there was too many things to list and I don’t want to bash them. Just be cautious if you lease the space. You will need just about everything when you go. As I mentioned, the home is in a great location and you could tell it’s an old home that needed to be remodeled, which is understandable but much of the furniture was definitely inadequate, for example. The futon wasn’t really a futon and my son had a sleep half on a foot rest and a couch at different levels again I understand that people don’t have the resources to make it perfect and you can save some money by staying here, but regardless it still needs to be furnished properly and I’m just saying this so when other travelers go there, they know what to expect. we did have a great time and may do and I thank them for offer get to us."

"Sweet coastal themed cottage. Enjoyed watching deer and turkeys and picking blueberries along the dead end road. Away from crowds. Peaceful retreat with great views nearby. Two lobster shacks to eat at nearby, Bell Buoy and Lunch on the Wharf. Winkled Pickle was good too. "
