"The room didn’t have a microwave, which was inconvenient since we were traveling with a small kid. The room smelled really bad—like someone had been smoking there before us. Parking should be free. Overall, not the vibe I expect from Hilton. But the staff was friendly."

"The room was not pleasant. One of the drawers kept opening up for no reason. The shower seemed old and dirty. The carpet seemed like they were never washed. Simply, it was not worth the money and the number of stars. "

"You get what you pay for is what my husband said to me. I had to laugh because he was right. The staff was friendly though and tentative. So that was a plus. We checked in to our room and realized that the door doesn’t have the chain lock. So we felt weird and put a chair to block the door knob. Then I went to shower and the shower head wasn’t working. But we checked in late so, we were too tired to call them about it. We figured we’re just sleeping there for 1 night. As I pulled the covers to our bed. I looked at our bed sheets and the comforter, there blood all over. The sheets were dirty too. Now that made us feel so grossed out. I called them and realized our landline didn’t have any connection to the front desk. So I had to go on the site and find their office number. Called them and told them what we found. They moved us to another room. Surprised that the new room was 10 times better than the original room. I wonder is it because we paid $77 for old room that they decided to give us a crappy room. The new room seems more pricey. Oh and the phone has numbers to the front desk and house keeping. I thought that was funny because the old room, the phone wasn’t working. Anyways we will never book there again!! I would not recommend it to anyone. Unless you want dirty sheets and comforters. I took photos as proof. "

"This Vbro rental was perfect. It was very clean on the inside and felt like a stay at a wonderful home. The hosts were incredibly nice, they baked lavender chocolate scones and helped us find the location in the dark. I definitely plan on staying at the rental again. "

"This is a remarkable house, hidden in the redwoods on a small mountain road several miles from Watsonville. It's a uniquely designed home, a great kitchen, and four bedrooms. The road and driveway up to the house are themselves quite an experience, and guests should be aware that there are quite a few stairs up to the large deck. "

"Joe is a kind and patient host. The grounds look like they would be a lot of fun for a family event. The 1B1B cabin is absolutely lovely. Maybe a clothes hanger bar in the bathroom (under the cabinet) would be helpful? The 2B1B needs improvement and minor repairs. The breaker (for the plugs) was tripped when we arrived and it tripped again when we turned on a floor lamp with the refrigerator running. The futon bed was a bit “tippy” when pulled out, consider stands under the free side. The mini fridge may need a deep scrub.Overall clean and cute but “rustic.” Drive in was so pretty. The sheep and goat were fun to watch. Would consider a return trip to the 1B1B to explore the grounds more and relax in a cellular-free zone."

"The place was perfect for my grandkids & us. The bedrooms were very spacious & clean. The kitchen was well equipped, and the patio was great. Christian was very friendly & responded to any questions or issues we had immediately. The front porch light bulb burned out & he replaced it within a few hours so we didn't have to manage the stairs in the dark.I would highly recommend this place & will stay there again when the family meets in Watsonville."
