"The staff was extremely polity and understanding. They changed our room to a quieter one despite the peak season. The cleaning service was very neat and reliable. "

"Our room was large, clean and comfortable. It was on the upper floor in the Ocean View building and the view was wonderful. Parking was easy and the Island Explorer stopped at a nearby building regularly. (We toyed with catching the bus at the neighboring Hampton Inn, which might be even closer.) We walked into Bar Harbor several times. We didn't try the restaurants on the Wonder View/Blue Nose property. We also didn't visit the gym or the pools. The gift shop in the Blue Nose is very nice as were the staff we encountered throughout our stay. Our only complaint was with the water temperature in our shower. It fluctuated wildly during a shower, which could be chilling or scorching without warning."

"The only downside to this property was that you pay for an ocean view room and indeed you can see the ocean but it’s quite a distance away. We had not been to this area before and didn’t know the lay of the land so it was a little unexpected to be so far away from the ocean and have a ocean view."

"Excellent location-walking distance to restaurants and stores. You can walk to Acadia trails or the Village Green to take the free shuttle up to Acadia. "

"The property is located within walking distance to shops and restaurants in Bar Harbor. The oprporty offers unlimited snacks (eg fig bars, protein bars) and drinks (eg water, fruit juices) in the lobby. In the morning, they have a gtab and go breakfast (eg pastries, fruit, yogurt). Plenty of parking. The rooms are not insulated for noise so depending on the side of the building you can get some street noise. No elevator, keep this in mind if you are unable to carry your luggage up one flight of stairs...but I bet the staff would assist too. They are friendly. Will I stay again at the seasider? Yes I would."

"This was our first time to Bar Harbor and we are in love with this little town. Our hotel location was within walking distance of restaurants, bars, parks and the water front. Yet, it was just far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. The hotel room and grounds were lovely and so clean. The pool was a nice surprise and we took advantage of the cool, clean water and comfy lounge chairs. The location was just a short drive down the road from Acadia and all the trails and easy coastal access. The hotel front desk was very friendly and had great recommendations for dining options. We even left an item behind and they were kind enough to mail it back to us. I highly recommend staying here. Clean, quiet, affordable, accessible. Thanks for making our weekend so peaceful and relaxing. "
