"Perfect location for a short stay near Wrigley. Breakfast was lovely with a homey feel. House gives historic vibes with modern amenities such as check in and wifi. Parking is included, but you are in a big city and you have street parking on your own and it is complicated, but a god send if you know the area. Sharing the bathroom was no problem at all. I would suggest that the owners install grab bars as the tub is high and getting in and out if you are unsteady is quite difficult. The stairs up to the room were narrow and steep, but manageable for me. Overall for the price it was worth it for me, but as I get older I would need more assistance with luggage and shower grab bars."

"It’s hard to judge the staff because you never see the owners. I did see the cleaning crew twice, and they were very hard working. The problem with not seeing the owners (ever) is that if there’s an issue, it’s not real clear how to resolve it. My room was a little musty, and had I seen someone at breakfast, I’d have likely mentioned that. I’d have also suggested a basket in the bathroom for the used hand towels. And they could probably start a pot of coffee in the morning (or at least instruct how much grounds to scoop for 12 cups). But overall, minor issues for a decent place at a good price in a safe neighborhood. Convenient to the El and several bus lines … an easy CTA trip from either airport. Recommended, and I’ll be back."

"The property has so much old school Chicago charm! I loved my stay here. It was comfortable and I had everything I needed. Plus, the location was central to everything. I stayed here in order to see shows at the Metro and had a nice, safe walk back from the venue at night with my friends. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful and kind."
