Nice clean and cozy place to stay.

Had a 2 night stay. Room was very nice, clean and cozy. Had a private bathroom which is always nice. Property owner was very nice and helpful. Very close to the Metro for easy access to transportation. Would recommend this for a solo travel and even a couple looking for a place to stay.

Very clean and comfortable stay. I would give five stars, but at 10 pm on one of our nights, our host knocked on our door insisting we were smoking inside (?). Neither my partner or I smoke. He said he could smell “either cigarettes or pot” (couldn’t tell us which) was coming directly from our room. We had no idea where this idea came from and made me feel uncomfortable for the rest of my stay. Made me feel unsafe considering the tone he took with my partner, and we considered getting a room somewhere else because we were worried he would decide to kick us out on something baseless. Would not book here again.

Kitchen was very dirty. Room was and bathroom were kind of clean. The host was not welcoming. It looked like we were just places in a back storage room when a bunch of junk and old furniture.

This was my first non-hotel stay and I wasn't sure what to expect. After some initial confusion regarding checking in, it was a great choice. I had a room with a bathroom and shared a kitchen with others there, who I only saw occasionally. The place was an easy walk to everything I needed and the area seemed very safe. My only complaint was there was no bowl for food in the kitchen (seemed odd and I would've brought one if I had known). Otherwise it was very good.

I had a great time at this property. It's cozy, clean and very comfortable. It's ideally located near one of the metro stations as well, which is very convenient. The landlord is very gentle and accommodating, but also very knowledgeable about the local area, which is perfect when looking for places to go. I really recommend Le Sieur de Joliette!

Great owner operated small hotel. Marc is very genial and helpful. Room tidy and clean. Like access to kitchen area for tea in the morning. Marché Maisonneuve is close by and has delicious croissants, cheese, groceries. Circuit Électrique has easy to use DC fast chargers right at the market -awesome!

The host was nice but the stay was NOT worth the money. SO expensive for a very low quality room. The listing stated parking but it was only street parking with limited availabily. Comfortable bed but slapped together lodgings that were overpriced.
