We liked most everything about the property. However there seemed to be very limited seating other than the beds which we do not care for. The red carpet leading to the property front door was quite dirty and worn making for a weaker impression upon arrival. The interior was very clean and bright.

This is a fantastic hotel. The hotel is very modern and "smart" and inside an old mansion. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and great price with Expedia.

Hotel is clean,comfortable and easy walking distance to many highlights of Montreal. We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was so great at the hotel! Shout out to Bob and Roger at the front desk in the evening. And to concierge who was very helpful with restaurant ideas and reservations for our family!

The hotel is beautiful! Good location …The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful! The room was spotless and large! We had the double queen…would recommend highly! Only small issue for us was the lighting in the room… too much technology and those harsh white lights not great… and being able to “see”(in silhouette) the person in the bathroom showering was not something we found helpful…shower was awesome though!:)

There was so much miscommunication within the staff, Bob (concierge) was not only absolutely rude for no reason, he was giving false information that was not matching what was told to me the day before by the other staff, and all this happen infront of my guest. I’ve never experienced this in any hotel let alone a 5 star one. The Guest services manager Guillame was extremely helpful and tried to make up for it. My advice is he should train some of the other staff as it seems some of them aren’t on the same page. Room service also walked in our room 3 times within 2 hours without knocking or anything.

The thing that stood out for me at this hotel was the reception service and concierge service. Exceptional! We also enjoyed the modern room lighting, Japanese, toilet, rainforest shower, and many other lovely amenities. Dining at Bar George for breakfast and dinner was absolutely divine! We felt spoiled from beginning to end!

This is a magnificent property and perfectly located in Montreal. Walking distance to everything. However, if you are from out side the province of Quebec you will be shocked at the taxes and fees you will pay. When I reserved my room the cost expensive, but I was treating my wife. However, while the hotel site said there was parking available, it did not mention the cost per night. Also, the site did not mention that there was a tourist tax, a provincial tax and a federal tax on top of everything. The cost of my one night rose an additional 1/3. Not happy about hidden costs.
