The gentleman who checked us in was polite. Our room had clean sheets on the beds and was mostly clean with the exception of details like the doors and window sills were dirty and we found someone’s press-on nail on the sill while opening the window for ventilation. They put new carpet on a bumpy floor. It felt like there were pieces of wood that had been left behind underneath the carpet making it uncomfortable to walk on while barefooted. For the price however, it was a good deal. Good Japanese restaurant just across the street and conveniently located near Carmel and Monterey.

The room was poor. The bath was clogged and backed up everytime you had a shower and worst of all I killed about 10 roaches. Location was decent with good amenities nearby but that was about all I would say positive about it.

Overall this is a good place at a good price. They cover basic needs without charging extra for everything. Its a small property. Parking is ok. Didnt like noise from other guests. This went on from late evening until 1AM.

Another Great stay in a wonderful location! Loved having a fridge/microwave and coffee pot as it came in handy! Location is great with many different stores/restaurants and even an urgent care nearby. My room was clean and comfortable with all amenities I needed. As a solo traveler I felt very safe and all employees were welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this booking and will definitely stay again! Thank you!
