"Beautiful boutique hotel. Hard to know where to start, property itself is stunning, decor in all areas is excellent. On arrival reception staff were very welcoming and informative. Rooms are large and very comfortable. Bar is good, prices reasonable and excellent choice. Spa is well appointed. Fantastic evening meal in Blok restaurant, food superb, staff attentive, informative and friendly. Breakfast also very good, again staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Overall, an outstanding place for a couple to take a relaxing break"

"Room wasnt properly cleaner, between bed and side tables could see some peanuts dropped by previois guests, not hoovered in those areas. Bathroom somilar, thefe were hair in bathtub ɓ "

"The hot tub was an excellent addition to the stay. After trekking Brecon every day we got in every evening. Rooms were good size and we had enough space for all - 5 adults and 2 kids. The hot water was a bit temperamental (seems to be only working when the heating is on) and there is no dishwasher."

"The Rose and Crown is a little inn just above Porthcawl. It’s old, and charming, and the rooms are in need of a little bit of updating—-new carpet would go a long way! But the beds were very comfortable, it met our needs, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We had a light dinner there, and it was delicious."
