"If I could give a negative for the stars I would. I stayed at this hotel in September 2025 and the comforter was dirty. We removed the comforter before going to sleep, as we refused to sleep with this. The next morning I showed this to the management, an indeed they agreed it was dirty and they apologized. I decided to give the hotel another chance, therefore I stayed at the same hotel during the April 2026 school holidays with my two boys, and again the bed sheets had human hairs and dog hair in them and additionaly general stains. Again the next morning I approached to management to inform them of the issue, mentioning this was not the first time it occurred. Management, did not take any actions again just an apology. Clean bed sheets are the basic rules of cleanliness. "

"This is such an amazing hotel in the heart of Dunedin City Centre. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and provided great recommendations for what to explore. The restaurant staff were also very accommodating. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. "
