"Beautiful pool and garden, beautiful quiet location - house was good but old fashioned and required more thorough cleaning and attention to detail on cleaning crockery, checking for bugs in house (cleaning again) and ensuring that all facilities were in good working order which they were not. Heating was broken, dishwasher did not clean properly, no hot water in evening, then internet went down in storm affecting TV, with little to no contact with owner. This house needs TLC as did we so we felt cold, neglected and disappointed with our holiday. Apart from one load of logs for the fire which cheered us up we were pretty much ignored by the owner except when he arrived to check the heating and the plumber tried to fix. But it came on once at 2am then that was it. So very sorry but it was all too frustrating. Better communication is required. "

"Wonderful villa in the hills above Sarlat but an easy 20 minute walk to the centre of the old town. Beautiful heated pool that we made good use of despite the poor weather (we were unlucky). In the circumstances it was great to have a spacious house that had a well-stocked kitchen to cook in and comfortable sofas to relax in. Our host Emmanuelle was so welcoming and flexible when we had a tyre blow out on the drive down meaning we were several hours late. Would highly recommend."
