"The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was clean and well organised (I always appreciate when the on/off control isn't under the shower head. The biggest issue I had was two grown adults in a double bed! 😐 It was uncomfortable and I didn't sleep particularly well. I would have thought that in a bedroom of that size there would have been a king size bed! "

"We recently stayed for 2 nights Friday-Sunday as we were attending a family wedding on Saturday. Checked in to the hotel at 8.50 and had a dinner reservation at 9. Upon going to our room at about 11 we noticed a letter from the hotel on the bed. Apparently their new policy is not to service the room for stays of more than one night unless they are asked. However you have to let them know by 10 the night before. As we were an hour late I telephoned reception but there was no answer. The following morning before breakfast we went to reception to ask for our room to be serviced sometime that day. We explained that we would be out from midday to midnight. "The Haven is a very well kept and equipped property. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Parking right outside the front door. Plenty of room for two people. Just a little far to walk to any restaurant or bar. But peaceful and easy to find."

"No air conditioning but there was a dyson fan and a heater. Room had a coffee machine, mini fridge, hairdryer and a handheld steamer. We stayed in a room overlooking the harbour and it was very quiet. You couldn't hear any noise from the pub next door. Room was modern and very clean. The bed was huge (king) and very comfortable. There were places nearby to get breakfast and is very close to a Sainsbury and M&S food (Apr26)."
