"We recently stayed here while visiting the new forest. It was great! We had a double room which was clean and comfortable it had tea & coffee making facilities and biscuits, good shower but a bit small and a very comfortable bed. Our room was facing the road but was really quiet and only heard one or two cars pass by. There was off street parking which was a bonus. The breakfast was fantastic which had a good choice of fresh fruit and cereals or cooked, I went for the cooked breakfast both mornings and it was excellent and everything came out hot. Rob was very welcoming and nothing was too much bother. We had a very enjoyable stay here and would definitely stay here again."

"The hotel was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful! It's really hard to find a dog friendly hotel that are so relaxed about actually bringing dogs! Especially as our puppy is a big boy and sometimes, due to his bread, people are cautious of him. But the hotel were great and didn't make us feel nervous or "in the way" at all. It was a lovely stay."

"Beautiful chalet in a beautiful garden. We had breakfast on its small terrace and saw a red squirrel come to watch us! The owners were very kind and attentive. Bonus is there is a shortcut to 5 tennis courts and a basketball court in the adjacent park as well easy walk to Cowes centre."

"Kind of okay, but some of the staff were really bothered if you need anything or ask them a question. At the pub the staff were a bit weird and made us feel not welcomed. Most of them looked very tense and wanted you to get out of their faces quickly. Some of them were good. They should leave more milk bags in the rooms."

"Dan was a great host and very attentive. He runs it as a b and b or you cane have the place to yourself. House was lovely, good amenities, clean and quiet. Lots of food basics provided free for use such as coffee, milk, butter; bread etc. Cosy lounge with log burner, lovely gardens and great location. Shame I was only staying for work as I would have liked to have stayed and relaxed there! Would definitely book again. Can’t fault the experience. Great place."

"The hotel is very strange and you have to check in online then you get given a code walk to your room and on the wall next to your room is a lockbox where you enter that code to get your key to get into the room all of that takes a very long time and it feels more like a Airbnb rental than an actual hotel. The bar has no drinks to sell and we soon found out in the town that the hotel has recently shut down and reopened under new ownership. My hunch would be the new owners have never run a hotel before."

"No air conditioning but there was a dyson fan and a heater. Room had a coffee machine, mini fridge, hairdryer and a handheld steamer. We stayed in a room overlooking the harbour and it was very quiet. You couldn't hear any noise from the pub next door. Room was modern and very clean. The bed was huge (king) and very comfortable. There were places nearby to get breakfast and is very close to a Sainsbury and M&S food (Apr26)."
