"Our hosts/staff were friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant 'Birdies' is just right for the location, good vibe. The food is excellent but expect the prices to reflect what you'd pay back home. The accomodation was just right for us (family: 2 adults + 1 teen), we had seperate rooms with individual ensuites. The snorkeling was amazing and reputed to be the best on the Island: lots of different corals and fish. Water was warm, even in their winter. There is another bar down the road ('the Beach Bar') which is excellent: live performances and good pizza. But note that it is a lazy 40 minute walk if you miss the bus. The hosts who own/operate this resort are passionate about supporting this country and the Nevan people - accordingly their business has our support. We both recommend to stay at this resort and would stay there again."

"Probably the best place to stay in Vanuatu. Only real downside was buffet. Dinner didn’t have too many vegetarian options. Heaps of activities, kayaking they will teach you how to sail, paddle boarding. Had a little mini Gym on the waterfront. Highly recommend the bungalows on the water Laguna that was amazing view definitely stay at a resort in Fiji because there’s not much else to do in the country."

"My daughter and I stayed here for a week during our first visit to Port Vila . The hosts Morgan and Annie , and Rocky the playful dog made us feel right at home from arrival, and like part of their family . The freshly made breakfasts were delicious and always flexible around our daily schedule . Rooms were clean, quiet, and aircon worked a treat. Handy location to transport, supermarket a short walk away , all set in a beautiful tranquil garden by the lagoon. Would stay here again anytime ."

"Nasama Resort was very good value as the room we had (Ocean View 1 Bed) was spacious with a walk in robe area great for storing your luggage etc, well out of your way. The rooms can be a little dated but are clean, also the dedicated friendly staff are always around and always willing to assist. An excellent choice of Breakfast is often included and Nasama has 2 of Vanuatu's best rated restaurants on site, 3 pigs and Cafe Villa. We did have an issue with our room during our stay dues to strong trade winds and a storm, but the staff and maintenance staff worked quickly as soon as it was safe to resolve all issues. We did stay in June which is said to be a time for the best weather, how ever Trade Winds can sometimes be an issue between May and October which may make using your balcony on the Ocean view rooms as we had unusable or unpleasant at times. The Studio or 2 bedroom suites may be more sheltered in these times. We certainly would not hesitate to stay at Nasama again."

"We recently stayed at the Ramada Resort in Port Vila and overall had a lovely experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay, which really made a positive impression. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well presented, with beautiful views across the bay. Unfortunately, the air conditioning didn’t work for the first two days of our stay. Thankfully, the weather was relatively cool at the time, so it wasn’t too uncomfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options available each morning. My only criticism would be the coffee. There was no barista-made coffee available, and the machine coffee was probably the worst coffee I’ve had while travelling. I know that’s a first-world problem, but good coffee is one of life’s little holiday luxuries! I’d also suggest reconsidering promoting complimentary Wi-Fi as a guest benefit. The Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable and often difficult to use. Despite those issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The wonderful staff, comfortable accommodation and stunning bay views made for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We’d happily stay again and would recommend the resort to others looking for a relaxing stay in Port Vila."
