I was very impressed on how spotlessly clean it was and the little lounge at the front with a coffee machine was nice and cost. The tea/coffee making and even a toaster in the room was a nice surprise as well.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast options from the café are very good. Chinatown, shopping, and a lot of attractions are walking distance.

Convenient location near the princess theater. We stayed only one night while in Melbourne to see the show Annie. The man who checked us in (cannot recall his name but he was from Spain) was very nice and provided a list of restaurants in the area that stay open late so we can get dinner. Room was dated but comfortable and warm with good working heater. Would definately stay there again when in town for another show.

My stay at the City Limits Hotel was great! It was a perfect location to be near everything and Daniel on reception was so helpful, accommodating and a delight to deal with! It was great to have the kitchenette in the room as well as the expected amenities. I would definitely stay there again!

The location is perfect for everything the city has to offer. From performances at the Princess theater to the numerous restaurant options all within walking distance. It is also conveniently located close to both trams and trains to explore outside the cbd.

I stayed in a King Studio. I was really impressed with the staff, who are cheerful, helpful and go out of their way to help. The room is large for the price and well equipped with a kitchenette, dining bench and desk, as well as the usual bed, TV and bathroom. The room was comfortable and quiet and everything worked. The location is great, near restaurants, trams and trains. I would definitely stay again and have already recommended it to friends.

Haven in the city

This is my new favourite inner Melbourne hotel. It's up the end of Little Bourke, which is quiet but still close to everything. It has 24 hour reception, and the lovely man checking me in was chatty, informative and super-friendly. He went out of his way to check me in early. There is free (good) coffee in the lobby and filtered water on top. The room itself was spacious with a King-size, super-comfy bed, and everything else you would expect for a 4-star kind of experience. I like the relaxed, non-fussy vibe. And it's next door to a great Melbourne cafe where breakfast is available 7 days a week.

My stay was great the reception staff was great and provided me with early check in. I would like to point only one thing, there is a hole in the kitchen cabinets room no. 601 and it throws cold air, probably connected to mechanical system of the building. As I stayed in cold weather and the room heater was not thay strong, it was a little uncomfortable. Other than that, I had a great time.
