Great spot to stay. My room was clean and tidy and the person on reception was very efficient and friendly. The only thing I missed was shampoo, which I will take with me next time I stay. All in all a good experience. (Light sleepers might want to choose a room away from the street as rubbish removal comes early in the morning)

You get what you pay for, I guess - room is very basic and shared bathrooms not always clean, but the location is great and staff are very friendly. Decent value for money.

Reasonably priced for budget accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff during the day. Basic maintenance needed to fix broken fittings (power point, heat pump) which they tried to do while there with limited success. Central location is great. Our room had its own bathroom. Wouldn’t want to use the shared facilities as not very clean. Upstairs shared kitchen and laundry facilities were good but steep stairs and leaky roof were concerns. Generally okay for a night or so.

I didn’t want to stay in the city center but I am glad I did!! I only booked one night because budget can mean so many different things, but as soon as I got there and saw the size of the room, the amenities and how clean it was for the price I booked 3 more night! This is a can’t go wrong booking. You will be in the city center with a tram and metro stop right outside your door. I will probably book another night here on my way out of Melbourne.
