The Mountain House at the base of Mount Shasta

10/10 Excellent
"We really loved the place and felt very safe and relaxed. Loved the proximity of the big park , HooHoo, and the walking possibilities up past the fire department. The yard was big and well cared for but limited comfortable seating and no shade...also no fencing for our dog. That didn't realy matter because he stays when told and he had lots of romping time with the neighbors dog. We usually camp when we're up there but will definitely stay here again. Oh, well equipped and friendly kitchen!"

"The hosts were very responsive from the time we first inquired about the property all the way through our stay. We had a very comfortable and relaxed stay at their log cabin with five bedrooms and good communal space. Lots of kitchen gear so we were able to do all of the cooking that we wanted to do. It was an easy, short walk to town. Perfect for us."
