Iroha Grand Hotel
Loved the staff, the customer service was great. However the bed was very very uncomfortable. If you need a bed with more cushion this isn’t the place for you. However, the location was close to Matsumoto station and the restaurants around the hotel were awesome!

It was a great stay, enjoyed everything it had to offer but I recommend getting there by car or taxi since it’s out of the way of the train stations so you have to walk about 30 min

Residence Hotel Takayama Station
Room was spotless, great amenities, staff were great and helpful. Very close to the train station and walk to all the attractions.
