A home from home, friendly, clean, great location.
We were welcomed very warmly at Port View and, throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. It is a delightful warm, comfortable and ultra clean place.in a quiet street just up from the harbour. Everything has been well thought out and all sorts of little details added. We were even welcomed with a complimentary bottle of wine and bottle of water on arrival, so kind and generous. The owner is very friendly in the best possible way and offered us any tips we wanted on the local area.

Ideal stay
Me and a friend were staying here while following England away and it was brilliant. Breakfast in the morning was really good and was ideal for the price we paid, will visit again if England play Malta again!

Port View Guest House is in a great location and easy to find off the main road along the harbour. The building and room are clean, modern and spacious. The building even has an elevator. The market along the harbour and restaurants are easy walking distance from Port View Guest House. Check in and check out were smooth and easy. I would recommend Port View Guest House to anyone looking to stay in Marsaxlokk or wanting to visit the surrounding area. I would happily stay here again!

I didn't like my experience based on the bed. I ordered "one queen bed" through Expedia and was given two smaller mattresses pushed together to try to make a queen size bed. Unfortunately the beds would seperate throughout the nights with multiple readjustments each night. If a hotel has a good bed then I am much more likely to let other things slide, but the bed (the main reason for the hotel room) was not satisfactory. I asked someone to come look at it and ask if there was a room with a queen size bed, there wasn't and all he told me to do was push them together, not the solution I was looking for. The Ac worked well, the breakfast was the basics with many options a short walk away if you'd prefer to eat something else. The area around the hotel is beautiful in the sun but after a few nights it felt fully explored. The rooms also had a VERY limited view, I thought with a name like Port View Guest House I would be able to see the port and ocean. There are some flys/mosquitoes in the area with a large beatle and small millipede also being noticed in our room, the room was fairly clean other than that.

This was the cleanest hotel I've stayed in. I felt I was the first guest to stay in the room. Congratulations to the cleaners; job well done. The room was quiet and comfortable. Linens were superior, and towels were soft and plentiful—lots of closet space and shelves for belongings. The Marasklokk promenade is a few steps away. There are so many restaurants it is hard to choose. Go on Sunday for the huge street market featuring fresh seafood, baked goods, sweets, clothing, jewelry, household goods, and more. My only complaint is the lack of lights on the stairs in the early morning when I left for the airport. It was a bit scary. I will definitely stay here again.

This is an excellent choice of a bed-and-breakfast outside the capital of Malta. In a picture S fisherman‘s Village with excellent facilities. Friendliness and cleanliness and hospitality of the B&B is one of the best we’ve been in, and the breakfast was excellent. So sorry that our flights were changed and our stay in Malta at this B&B was so short. I recommend this B&B to anyone who’s passing through Malta close to the airport.

A block from the port, waterfront, restaurant row just beautiful, Malta can be busy, quiet, laid back fresh fish! Good for walkers ,runners, family's very unique setting.

b&b confortevole in posizione comoda per raggiungere le località della zona. ambiente pulito e tranquillo. la nostra camera standard non era della metratura riportata sul sito, comunque di dimensioni più che accettabili. le finestre purtroppo davano su corti interne anguste e piene di tubi e cavi di ogni genere. bella la sala colazioni con veduta sul porto. buona la colazione. personale gentile e collaborativo.

Es waren alle Mitarbeiter sehr sympathisch und haben uns gute Tipps gegeben für Ausflüge und Restaurants. Es waren alle Restaurants hervorragend. Das Guest House liegt 2 minuten von der Hauptstrasse und Restaurants entfernt. Am Wochenden haben wir den Fischmarkt besucht. Es ist nicht besornders gross aber ein Besuch wert. Sehr empfehlenswert.

AMAZING SERVICE ! We stayed at Port View Guest House overnight to take a very early flight (Marsaxlokk being so conveniently close to the airport. We didn't get a chance to see the port view from the top floor but the place is 30 seconds away from the beautiful port and restaurants. Also, there is a small grocery store two doors away. The building itself is not stylish but spick and span clean and the beds are very comfortable. If you have big suitcases, be warned that you might have to lift them up a flight of stairs from the street if you arrive after reception hours. Yet, contact Andrew and he'll bend over backward to accommodate you : come to meet and help you after reception hours, book a cab or pack breakfast for you ahead of time if you have to leave in the middle of the night. So definitely a place to recommend!

Port view n’est pas un hôtel Il faut sonner à l’entrée pour avoir accès à la réception Accueil parfait Mais pas de serviettes de plage comme proposé dans un hôtel de ce standing De plus nous avons payé pour une chambre quadruple donc 2 grands lits Mais nous avons eu une chambre twin Le tarif 100€ excessif pour une chambre qui donne sur un mur
