"The rooms are outdated, the fridge was dirty and the kettle was dirty and rusty when we checked in. We have got this changed instantly but the fridge never worked. Our room was only serviced 3 times out of the 5 nights and not once the sheets were changed even when we asked for it to. We also didn’t get any soap or shampoo replenished. "Nice sized hotel quite modern but still personal. Good central location but side street so it's quiet. We were there beginning of May so under occupied which meant no buffet breakfast just very small plated breakfast. I understand the reasoning but felt if breakfast is reduced so should the room prices so the negative of City Hotel is it's bit overpriced."

"Big change , this was a really nice hotel , nice clientele, older and quiet , great service. This year , loud brash , very pushy to buy drinks , eat there , young staff now doing to loud dance , tacky entertainment.., It’s self catering apartments, truly appalling kitchen equipment, asked bar for ice , they said they can’t give ice , no ice machine. They supply one toilet roll .. it’s a 4 star !!! It’s absolutely not , they are so cheap and penny pinching Hotel cleaning staff are amazing "
