"Would NOT recommend. My husband and i stayed at the Morgan for our honeymoon for 5 days. I have to be honest, we were so disappointed. Our very first interaction with front desk staff member was poor. I’m assuming she had a frustrating day but she certainly took it out on us. Didn’t greet us, told us nothing about the property, she just slid us the room key barely said anything and that was it. And the very little she said was snarky and just rude. Second interaction, a bartender was incredibly condescending and rude. He act like we were a bother to him. This took away our initial excitement about the property. We travel often, stay at many hotels, this was by far the worst costumer service we experienced from staff . Out of all of them, we had ONE super kind, waitress one morning at the pool. The rooms are outdated, and not maintained well. The bedding is cheap, thin , rough and mattress is uncomfortable. So you’ll freeze if you don’t have a comforter of your own. They charge for every little thing, with terrible service, that can be aggravating. For example, room service, there’s a service charge + the items + a charge per person. Overall 4/10. Beautiful view / pool area. That was the best part. But overall, they value money over customer experience, it’s so obvious. We were so disappointed and wish we booked an air bnb or another property."

"The Fantastic Hotel was unlike any hotel I have ever stayed in. First, the Plus side: the taxi ride from the airport cost $ 25 USD. The gentleman working the front desk was exceptionally pleasant in English, French and Spanish. I got to meet his wife and kids and they were all very nice. The hotel was exceptionally quiet, the pool was very clean and refreshing. The elevator was very fast and quiet – my room # 305 was quite small, but adequate, with a queen-size bed, table with 2 chairs, small fridge, and small bathroom. It was a simple, slightly downhill 25 minute walk to downtown, past houses, a couple of schools and a sports complex; a pleasant stroll. I felt safe in the daytime and at night. On the Minus side: There was no service at the hotel except housekeeping – which was very good – but you couldn’t get any food or drink at all, even though there were signs indicating otherwise. All in all – the hotel, location, etc was a good choice for me as I like to explore places on foot. It is definitely not a tourist hot spot, but was good value for the $ 125 a night I paid. Don’t let anyone tell you they exchange USD at par with the Euro in Marigot. Everywhere I went the rate ranged from 1:15 to 1:21 USD per Euro. Would I return to the Fantastic Hotel? As a single traveller I would, but if my wife came I would stay closer to the downtown area."

"It was great overall. Enjoyed walking to Baie Rouge beach, dinners at Mezza Luna and Ma Ti Beach, with exceptional staff. Transport is a must if you want to explore more of the Dutch side."

"Good safe parking and the kitchen was very well equipped. The location was very convenient to airport along with Maho Beach and Mullet Bay areas."

"I could not have stayed at a better place! Simpson bay is centrally located to all the businesses. All the businesses will call the shuttle to the meeting point for you. It is quite large but by day two I could navigate by foot and the shuttle service is robust. The staff were welcoming accommodating nothing felt like a money grab. I generally do not revisit resorts in search of different experiences. But I will be visiting again!"

"The only problem we had was we booked 3 of the ocean view rooms and they say the app have sweeping views and that isn’t true Ground level has no ocean views we had to pay $100 extra a night to have a suite on the 4th floor. One of our other rooms always on 3rd floor and had good views"
