"Checkin was easy, however it was raining and we had to drag our luggage up outdoor stairs. There was a small shopping area on the property with some very cute stores. I purchased some unique handmade jewelery there. We didn't have time to check out the dining room."
"We could not have had a better place to stay since we were trying to be close to family but did not know what to expect. Our suite was very clean, but could have used a few things like towel racks, some place to hang clothes in the bathroom while showering, paper towels, and wash clothes. The food was excellent for breakfast. The pool was so awesome with a charming atmosphere. But the staff was the best part. So caring and helpful. "It was a great cabin with an amazing view. If you are looking for a semi-secluded getaway away (it is still fairly close to beaches and the city), this is a great choice.
My only gripes are some deferred maintenance issues (not too bad) and that it was advertised as a two bedroom. It is a one bedroom with a lofted area that consisted of a mattress on the floor. I don’t think that it was very useful.
The roads up to the cabin can be steep and challenging, but very doable.
The communication with the owner/manager was great. He met us for an early h cg coming with no issues.
Overall, it was a great experience that I would recommend. But understand it is more for an escape. You will not want to keep going up and down the mountains for food, etc. "

If you get to the North Deck and didn't see it, you've just passed it. Look to the right of the North Deck and proceed to the furthest gate to the right. It's a steep climb by vehicle to access. Not for the faint of heart, but well worth it!
Spanish is an asset with the onsite attendant, however, the owner speaks English and is only a call away."
"I had a great stay at this warm, family-run guesthouse. The room was very comfortable, wifi strong and great running water! The hosts were kind and warm plus the location was excellent. Close enough to downtown but far away enough as well! I definitely will be back next time I roll through T&T!"
