"We loved,loved, loved the Love Boat on the Shallowbag Bay. It was so relaxing and enjoyed our time there. The Bay was so nice. We loved watching the boats come in and out. "My wife and I booked the Azul for a weekend Easter getaway. We had a lovely time. Gia was a wonderful host and communicated very well how to check in and informed me of boat policies. We spent most of our time on the sundeck with the nice outdoor furniture and artificial grass carpet. I felt like I was being rocked gently to sleep at night on the very comfortable bed. "The staff was wonderful, especially the 2 front desk ladies who waited on us and the female staff member who did all the work for the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was very good and much appreciated for the amount of food and the variety offered and the hard work of the female staff member. We stayed in the newer hotel but it still could use some updates such as the air-conditioning unit. I thought the mattress was uncomfortable, too firm for my back. I think hotels are purchasing the bed in a box and the cheaper ones are not very comfortable. The location of our room was awesome because we could walk right out to the beach. You couldn’t ask for easier access and a better view! The best and most convenient thing that happened was they allowed us to check into our hotel two hours earlier and that was much needed since we had been traveling all night. We really appreciated that! Overall our stay was nice and affordable and we would probably stay there again. Thank you!"

"First time getting a room with the kitchen at this property typically we stay in the towers. Was told it has the bare necessities for kitchen. As far as silverware went there was one small spoon, one big spoon and one knife and one fork we asked for more and they said they were gonna bring it right over. It didn’t happen so the next day we asked again and they finally brought it and we were told he forgot. This our second time here we love this property. We love the location. Hot tub is nice and the pool. Everything‘s always clean. It’s a quick easy walk to the beach."

"pet area needs to be lighted.It was totally dark except for 1 small solar light. Also the removal of pet waste was not upheld by many. Due to pet area being so dark, I had to report to the desk staff of a peeping tom. I also found that the cost of $10.95 per person for a buffet breakfast with powdered eggs and over cooked french toast was excessive."

"Tub was chipping, light bulbs burnt out and on the stand some one mented something and they never bothered to clean it. We had to sweep as soon as we got in the room. Just not because of sand. I wouldve given a higher score if we did not pay 1295.00 for 4 nights. Also we had to take out the trash and go get towels. Too boot I booked this room almost 2 months ago and every other booking agancy had the rooms for 4 has $500 less than Expedia. Which normally are very good to use. The staff was friendly and willing to help. "

"The room was clean and the one issue that we did have, with the toilet being clogged on check in, was addressed immediately. Breakfast was decent the day I tried it and desk staff were very friendly! My only criticism would be the overwhelming smell of pot smoke once someone checked into the room next to us, the entire floor smelled at one point, had I been staying longer I would have asked to be moved to another room. To each their own, people are free to do what they want but it stinks plain and simple and it’s supposed to be a no smoking property, so I guess places need to enforce that more. "
