"First time at hotel ,it is beautiful, the staff ,hotel , area ,the rooms. The staff go beyond & aboveto help you. Can not fault one thing ,will be back .The food in the restaurant was exceptional 😋. Thank you to all the staff ."

"The hotel is bang in the middle of town and the staff are friendly, the shower is good but could use more pressure and the bed is comfy. The breakfast was the best breakfast i have had at a hotel. The Air con system has no effect on the temperature of the room and the window in our room was broken. The hotel is also over the road from a night club and is very noisy till 2am and then at 6am the bin men start up at outside. this is not the hotels fault but if you want a good night's sleep you won't find it here. "

"There is no signs so you need to ask to check in at bar and no parking, there is parking in the pub down the bottom but be careful on the street outside due to tickets. You need to go through the staff only back bit that leads to very narrow stairs, there is no disabled access that I could see. Once in the room it was small and quaint, lots of tea, coffee and biscuits placed in the bedroom but a lot of it was out of date, i had to ask for remote as it wasn't in bedroom and can be quite loud downstairs, bed sheets were dirty and so was one of the towels in the bedroom. There was no handwash in the bathroom but free shampoo etc and turning on light and flushing toilet is extremely noisy. Being so close to the river is lovely and the high street but leaving is through the back or front (we chose the back as the pub was quite full) we were told we could have a takeaway in our rooms but was not allowed any plates or bowls and was given just forks and knives and was not offered to sit anywhere downstairs to eat it. The window kept us awake all night rattling as it doesn't seem to fit properly although the character of the bedroom is quitd sweet. "

"Fabulous hotel & I was pleasantly surprised on all counts. Great location for what we needed, stayed 3 nights while searching for a flat for my daughter who is relocating. From the super helpful ladies on the hotel reception to the top floor restaurant and bar for breakfast and dinner, again fantastic service & very friendly staff. Our room was lovely, very clean, all amenities you need, great size & view overlooking the airport. Perfect stay! Highly recommended… We’ll definitely be back when visiting the area again. Thanks "
