Excellent little ride-in, ride-out cabin with a Hot Tub. Unfortunately not enough snow so we had to trailer to the trail head, but the property was otherwise great, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay.

This Cabin is just what we wanted. Quiet neighborhood, secluded. You can't see any other homes. Beautiful forested grounds. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. They were well stocked with garbage bags and paper towels and everything else you would expect, and more.

Great place for family adventures
My kids were over the moon excited to stay in a cabin that looked just like the setting from their favourite cartoon Grizzly & The Lemmings! This cabin had all the comforts for a comfortable stay, while the remote setting gave our kids the sense that we were on an adventure. Traveling with young children can be stressful and we unfortunately had a couple of mishaps that caused minor damage to items at the cabin. We were more than prepared to pay for the items but were blown away when the host graciously told us that reimbursement was unnecessary. This lovely gesture is greatly appreciated and encourages me to recommend this cabin to all!

Quaint yet Modern
It was a clean property with modern anesthetics and appliances. Easy access off of highway 1. Owners are easy to communicate with and responsive. Having our toddler and dog with us was wonderful. There was a fire ban so unfortunately we could not have nightly fires, but the set up for it looked great. There was a storm one night which took out the power in the area but BC Hydro had it up and running within several hours. Sicamous was nice and close, approx 22 min drive. The public beach there is beautiful. We found an off leash dog park/beach in Canoe/Salmon Arm. There is one in Sicamous as well.

Snowmobile BC
We came to BC for snowmobiling with a big RV toy hauler and trailer. This property was perfect for riding eagle pass. Parking was tight but once backed in and unhooked we left the rig in the same place all week. We cooked our own meals every night and enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of riding. We had issues with water pressure but the property manager was very prompt at answering a txt and walked us through the process for getting it handled. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again for sure!

Quiet Cabin
This cabin was perfect for our family and dogs. We enjoyed the peace and quiet especially in the evenings. Star gazing from the hot tub was amazing. We thought the distance from town would be a deterrent but it really is an easy drive. Highly recommend if you want the solitude of being in the great outdoors with all the comforts of home.

Beautiful and enjoyable stay
This cabin was clean and had everything one would need to cook a great meal. We enjoyed how quiet our surroundings were. A nice fireplae also helped warm up the cabin amd made for a perfect ski trip ambiance. John was easy to reach when we had questions and check-in/check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow. We will book this place again!

It was unfortunate that the hot tub was not working. The pump stopped working just before their stay and we promptly ordered a new one which was delayed due to shipping issues. It was installed the day it arrived which ended up being the last night of their stay. We did provide an additional night free of charge for the inconvenience.

Great stay! Had trouble with the hot tub (older model) but was dealt with promptly. Landlord even ordered UFC PPV fights for us within minutes. Clean and cozy. Great for sledders!

Good stay at the cabin
We stayed at the cabin for 4 nights. It was pretty good. Just so many rules to follow that you don't have at other accommodations, like refilling the hot tub to a certain point etc... Cabin looks bigger in the pictures than it actually is. Overall we had a good stay though. Would go there again, with a smaller group though. Thanks

Great spot to rest and relax with the family.
Despite less than perfect weather conditions due to forest fire smoke and a bit of rain we made the best of our trip and the cabin provided us a cozy home away from home to base ourselves, eat our meals, play games, rest and relax. Though the cabin feels more of a winter destination, there's lots of stuff to do in summer as well. We hiked, swam, had lunch in Revelstoke and visited the quirky but amusing Enchanted Forest. We used the cabin as our midway point between Vancouver and Banff where we were headed for some camping and it served us perfectly.

Peaceful cabin in the woods
This is just what we were looking for. Somewhere peaceful but not too far to find some adventure. Love that the host John gave me all the info needed which left me with no questions. Everything was very neat and organized. Would definitely book this spot again!

Revelstoke fun
We had such a great week of mountain biking, canoeing and whitewater rafting. John’s cabin was a perfect home base for our week. John made sure we had everything we needed, the cabin was clean and very well stocked. I highly recommend staying here if you are gonna be in the Revelstoke or Sicamous area.

Another amazing vacation
Second time in a row at this property and had an even better time! We used to spend our vacations out of the country, but thanks to the current situation , we found this place and now we enjoy more spending our vacations in Canada. This cabin is secluded, lots of privacy, fully equipped with everything you need, had a hot tub and a fire pit. The owner is really nice and accommodating. We will be back!

Property great, but be aware of extra charges!
The property itself was great and as advertised. However, we were charged additional fees for the hot tub and additional cleaning fees. We were told by the owner that the hot tub had excess dirt, sand and plastic in it. We explained to him that we followed all his rules provided but the hot tub is in an area exposed to elements. We went on a day when it was particularly windy and leaves and dirt were blowing everywhere. There are not tools supplied to clean the hot tub. Be very wary of this as we used the hot tub under normal conditions and as directed and still got charged. We also got charged additional cleaning fees, although we cleaned the property ourselves except for emptying the garbage and rearranging the beds upstairs. Be aware that you must take all the huge garbage bags at the property with you because apparently the cleaning fee you pay means nothing. I am not even sure how realistic it is to ask guests to take all their garage with them when there is little facilities in the area to dump it. I have rented many properties over the years, and this was the first time I ever had to deal with someone requesting additional fees for normal use of a property. It is absolutely ridiculous that someone can just unilaterally charge additional fees like this. We did not trash the place, took care of it better than most people would, and still were required to pay these fees. I would advise anyone who is renting this property to take pictures after they leave to prove the condition of it in an attempt to avoid additional fees.

We ask that you treat and respect our lovely cabin as if it were yours by keeping it clean and tidy, and adhering to the House Rules. The House Rules is a contract between the guest and the host. All guests are required to review and agree to the House Rules prior to booking. The House Rules have been created due to previous guest behavior and to control additional expense and cost to both parties. If we find the cabin was abused or damaged, then we reserve the right to charge additional fees. If you are not willing to adhere to the House Rules, the please do not book this cabin.

Great place for a family staycation!
Cosy and warm cabin at the base of the mountains. We really enjoyed going on adventures all day, then having a cosy, warm cabin to come back too. The kids loved the hot tub and loft. Cabin had all the amenities needed and kitchen fully stocked.

Perfect Getaway
This was a very nice cabin and was well stocked with supplies! Very attentive host and responds to text/messages in a timely manner. The cabin is nestled in the trees, is quiet and has a wonderful charm about it! Perfect for 2 couples or a family with younger kids...they would love the loft beds!! The hot tub was a perfect end to the day after being out in the sun all day. The photos were exactly what the cabin and property looked like. The master bed was comfortable, but for me personally was too low. Having back and knee issues made it hard for me to get out of the bed... but other than that the whole experience was great. If you are looking for a getaway for some privacy and no hustle and bustle of the city, this cabin is perfect. Still within an easy driving distance to Sicamous, so was not an issue to wander into town. I can't wait to go back :)

Perfect cabin in the woods
The property was quiet and cozy. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. The close proximity to trails was nice for taking the quad out and would be great in the winter for sledding!! We had quick access to revelstoke and sicamous for a mountain/beach vacation. My only suggestion would be a upgrade to the living room furniture as the cushions seem to spit you out when you sit on them. Minor detail :) We would like to stay here again, and appreciated the host answering questions quickly.

Nice private cozy cabin. Being pet friendly was a big plus. The weather was really hot during our Stay and it did get quite hot in the cabin. A fan in the bedroom would have been a plus. But if your using for sledding during winter that wouldn’t be an issue. Host was friendly and accommodating. However I would bring your own towels and/or linens as I did had used them for removing some makeup (which I bleach out fine at home) and it stained and we were charged for those. Which is fine but not something we would have expected. Overall good experience.

We tried to bleach and scrub the stains but could not get them out of the white towels. We had to replace them with new white towels so the next guest could have the same experience and use of white clean towels when they stay at the cabin. We do not like charging guests for damaged items but if items are damaged and need to be replaced then we will charge a fee for each item that was damaged and replaced.

Summer Get Away
We had a great time at this cabin! Quiet and just enough off the beaten path. Close to everything we wanted to do in the area. John was very accomodating and was very prompt at returning messages and phone calls. Price was reasonable for a family of four, staying for 8 days. Kitchen had most supplies ie. pots, pans and dishes. Can't say enough good stuff about this place except we will definitely be back!

The cabin is located right by the eagles pass trail head. It’s perfect for any snowmobiler. You can ride right from your door, or go to Sicamous or Revy. The cabin is cozy, and clean. John was great to deal with. We booked last minute and he did everything he could to accommodate us, and make our stay enjoyable. The yard is beautiful with all the trees and you do t hear or see the neighbours. Quiet area, perfect for a relaxing mountain getaway, any time of year. Johns cabin is set up for snowmobilers in mind, with a drying rack and a hot tub. The best wood I e ever had the pleasure of burning, and cedar shakes for starting the fire. Amazing place and I’ll definitely be back!!!

Great secluded family getaway!
My family and I (2 teens) had a great stay at John's cabin home just at the base of Eagle Pass. Lots to do, lots of space, and easy drive into Sicamous or Revelstoke. Cabin had everything we needed to call it home. Hot tub and firepit were well used in the evenings as well! would stay again for sure.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Eagle Pass cabin. We used it as a home base for ski touring around Revelstoke. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to cook and take care of breakfast and lunch. The wood fire was great, the cabin stayed warm, and the hot tub is a great bonus. I had a few questions for John, the host, while we were staying and he got back to me very promptly with solutions. We would stay here again for sure.

Exactly what we wanted
The property was fantastic!! Fully stocked place all the way down to the labelled light switches. Great communication with the owner, even on Sunday of the long weekend! If I was looking to complain, I’d say that the water was a bit offensive smelling, but everything else was so awesome that it was easy to overlook. Thanks for having us John.

I truly want to say we had s wonderful stay but this place was tidy but not clean unfortunately and we pay a cleaning fee?? I am not sure who does the cleaning but you do need to change from this person The window ledges were filthy, I washed the kitchen tables , one should see the dirt in the cloth , the bathroom shelves were filled with dust, the heater was rusted and the bathroom door front and back has never been washed down No door on master bedroom closet and although it was mentioned that dishes had a salty scum on them, I honestly found many cutlery and other items needed rewashing due to food dirt in them This then was disappointing to the trip as we paid good money , along with a cleaning fee which should have been refunded back to us The house is needing much help to meet this code

As of August 1, 2018, we have acquired new cleaners and revised our cleaning protocols; so that in the future, any concerns you had, will not be an issue. I do wish you had informed me of these concerns when I spoke to you during check-in and throughout your stay. I would have immediately remedied the situation for you. Please note that the sliding closet doors in the bedroom were purposely removed for easier access to the washer/dryer and house supplies. The rusted bathroom heater is not a health hazard and does not infringe on the enjoyment of the cabin. It is however scheduled to be replaced in the fall. We hope to see you back soon.

Very cozy
Loved how close this was to the staging area for eagle pass sledding. Ideal for sledders. Cabin was cozy and the hot tub was amazing after a day of sledding. Loved the drying racks for gear above the fireplace. John was very nice, making sure we checked in ok. The one and only complaint i have was the general cleanliness of the bathroom...it wasn't disgusting or anything but could have been cleaner. This is minor though, looking at the overall experience. I would definitely come back!! I highly recommend this to sledders that dont want to have to load and unload sleds everyday to ride a good area.
