"This hotel at a different location would be at 1/4th the price Staff is amazing but too much, overwhelming most of the time. Entrance to the Machu Picchu park is limited to the same times as the masses of tourists which diminishes the value of staying up at this lodge significantly. Food was very good"

Eco Hacienda Roman

2.5 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (1)
"I came to Hacienda Roman knowing that in this part of Peru, you can't expect all the amenities like WiFi, cable TV, etc. If you go in with reasonable expectations, you'll be happy with this hotel. The pros: Staff are quite nice. Food is tasty and available fresh on site. Personal attention, especially the tour of the coffee/jungle out back, is phenomenal. The entire stay was worth it just for this!! The cons: Cooking is unbelievably slow; it took us no less than 1.5 hours to finish a meal...
