Our room bordered the river, which was running aggressively. It was beautiful and provided a pleasant "white noise" background to sleep to. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The staff friendly. A pleasant walk to the market and the town. A good stay, for sure.

Property is good choice for overnight stay. Room was clean and comfortable. I was disappointed that my standard room was inside with window facing internal corridor. Right next to elevator means you get noise but at least I didn’t hear the train. Booked at last minute so was expensive for what I got. Staff excellent/helpful. Overall hotel meets 3 star rating.

Location is good. The property is clean. The river view rooms are nice, a bit small unless you get a balcony room. The small double bed was comfortable. No air conditioning. Breakfast room has wonderful river views. Breakfast was just OK. Like most things in Aguas Caliente it's over priced.

The room was a bit hot at night The shower was great but there are no windows for the humidity to escape so it made the room extra humid and warm. After initial issues with outside noise and a move to a room far from the noise, I was given an updated modern room plus a complimentary dessert plate as a gesture acknowledging my troubles. The hotel is very convenient near the central Plaza de Armas where there is nightly free entertainment plus many shops and restaurants.

Great Stay Before Machu Picchu

Great place to stay before seeing Machu Picchu. We enjoyed the view of the river, and since we were facing the back, didn’t have any noise issues from the train. We appreciated the early and hearty breakfast, and the staff were kind enough to let us hang out for awhile after checkout while we waited for our train.

Don’t walk far stay near the station.

Great location near Peru Rail. You could store your bags and visit Machu Picchu. The only downside is it’s a bit noisy with the many trains.
