"We had a fantastic stay at this peaceful oceanside property in Harpswell, Maine. The setup—with a main house, attached apartment, and a charming bunkhouse—was perfect for our two families and adult children. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind.The backyard is absolutely stunning, filled with beautiful flowers and lush grass, and it opens up to a tranquil ocean inlet. We especially loved the hammock spot, perfect for a good book or an afternoon nap, and the back porch quickly became our favorite place for evening cocktails under the stars.The crisp, clean Maine air and quiet surroundings made it the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle. It’s also conveniently located—close to the Dolphin Restaurant (highly recommend), and just a short drive to Freeport, LL Bean, and local oystering and lobstering tours.Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering all of our questions quickly and making sure we had everything we needed.This home is perfect for family gatherings or anyone looking to recharge in a peaceful, beautiful setting. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others."
"The Casco Bay Inn is currently undergoing some renovation, but this doesn't detract from accessibility or services. The staff is friendly and helpful. Across the street is a brew pub with a light fare menu. A bit further down Rt 1 is a great custard stand; approx. 1/8 mile.
This location is modestly priced and conveniently located to Freeport.

"What a wonderful place to stay! It was perfect. The cleanliness, communication, access to all things, preparation for a warm Maine stay, and more. It was the best choice. The views were spectacular. "Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem toll gelegenen Ferienhaus direkt am Wasser! Die großen Fensterfronten bieten einen traumhaften Ausblick – vom ersten Kaffee am Morgen bis zum Sonnenuntergang. Das Haus ist hell, gemütlich und sehr gut ausgestattet – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir vermissen den Blick aufs Wasser jetzt schon!"
"Great vacation spot. We came in from Wednesday through Saturday. Quick drive to town for dinner, groceries, etc. We only wish it was a bit warmer to be able to enjoy the deck and hammock outside. Loved this house!"
