"The host Sterling was immediately responsive and welcoming when I was checking in and for questions. It was so nice having all the modern conveniences in such a lovely setting. I walk with a cane so really appreciated it being on one level with parking right next to the cottage. Fyi, there are two small steps into the bathroom which I could easily negotiate and a tub with shower. I travel with a portable grab bar which made the tub accessible for me. It was a wonderful place,"

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely great!The layout is perfect and the space is well stocked with throws, comfortable beds and furniture, the kitchen has everything, extremely clean, easy to keep clean (were there for 2 weeks), love the washer dryer right there and handy, and the setting is quintessential quiet, friendly, and beautiful. The house was probably updated a short time ago and is air tight with the windows closed so I can imagine that in colder weather, it would be comfortable. Everything is updated and easy to use inside. We only had one cooler day and we were very cozy inside without adding heat. The water access was easy and watching the tide was a favorite activity. The little coves going to the right or left on the beach are all worth exploring. Harpswell has a ton of public walking trails with parking in most places. It’s such a treasure of a place, with glorious beauty and diversity of rock formations, terrain, and seashore views."

"We highly recommend this cottage as a fantastic place to stay for two people. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and are nearby in case anything is needed. They checked in with us via message a couple times to see if we needed any extra accommodations. They also had great recommendations for rainy day activities. We love Harpswell for all of the beautiful conservation areas with hiking trails and this cottage is central to all of them and the best beaches are nearby as well. The cottage itself is a very peaceful place to hang out. The area feels safe and quiet. From the inside of the cottage, it feels like you’re right on the water. The first morning we woke up to the beautiful dancing reflections of light from the ocean onto the ceiling. From the deck we watched dolphins and eagles pass by and many songbirds visited the blueberry bushes. In the morning we got to experience the fishing boats leaving for the day and then their return in the evening. The cottage itself is inviting and has everything you might need for your stay. We generally cook all of our meals and had everything we needed to do so. The design and provisions, from cookware to outlets, have been well thought out, providing a home like atmosphere. We found it fast and convenient to travel to all of the awesome surrounding communities like Brunswick and Bath. As a vintage consignment shop owner, I had to make it to the nearby Montsweag Flea Market and Cabot Mill Antiques; both are highly recommended."

"This was the perfect spot for our Maine Get-away with friends. Very roomy and open. Bedrooms had view of water. Two full baths were appreciated. And the location - it was perfect for walking down to Stover’s Point. We especially enjoyed the back patio.Communication was great. And the house was nicely stocked with paper products, etc."
