Room a bit in need of some upgrading. Couple of screws in wall above bed that can cause damage if get caught on them. Staff all so friendly especially Syed ( hopefully spelt correctly). Will hopefully be back again as all in all a lovely place to stay

When booking the hotel it clearly stated it had free parking, on arrival we was told that parking was free after 17:30 so we had to then pay extra to park in another location. I wouldn’t have booked the hotel if we knew no parking was available.

Horrible hotel

Booked two rooms one had a fan one didn’t one had a fridge one didn’t the bar had no alcoholic drinks and the reception was full of prayer maps and the outside seating area was full of men sat clearing at women as they walked past and made my son and girlfriend so nervous the used the chair provided to block the room door
Son and girlfriend felt so uncomfortable with all the men hanging around the hotel they felt the need to use the chair to block the door

Arrived back at the hotel with my children from Wembley to find multiple people sat outside dining or smoking hookah pipes. Not conducive to a hotel environment. Woman who ‘greeted’ me on arrival demanded photo ID and appeared to want to refuse my entry when I explained I would not be allowed to email her my NHS photo pass.

I had a pleasant stay. The hotel does not look too nice from outside, but inside is definitely beautiful and more than a 3star. Has all the facilities, services, the area is safe and tidy, transports are close, the tube is a 10 mins walk from the hotel, a big supermarket is really close to the hotel and staff is super nice. Definitely worth it.

Very dated and noisy.

Very dated, awful curtains that didn’t fit window and let the lights on the outside of the building come through the huge gap which kept us awake! The towels were very small and poor quality.

Overall definitely a bang for your buck, the neighborhood is okay, would not hang around there at night, but the TV didn't work, and the room was tiny. often the hookah lounge is loud. Plus is it less than a half mile from two subway lines, easy to get downtown, and next to a grocery store, Staff is ok, overall an alright experience, and if you are on a budget, and don't want to stay in a hostel and in a ok area with good transit access London Star is the perfect

No parking or breakfast as advertised 👎

I booked this hotel thinking there was parking and there wasn't. We spent hours driving back out of London to find somewhere to park for the weekend. Also, there was supposed to be a continental breakfast, but there was none on each of the mornings of our stay.

One of us had to sleep in a broken bed that was really uncomfortable, there was mold in the shower and on the windows and asthma was acting up due to this.

Really disappointed with the state of the room, cobwebs everywhere, piles of dust, shower head broken and tv not working, even a whole in the wall with bare cable coming out ( very dangerous ) such a shame with a staff that is so lovely but the cleanliness is a real issue, and when contacted your being denied

OK, but not great

Only a budget hotel and was not expecting too much for the price but it was a bit worse than that. If the hotel comes up in a search that it has A/C then it should be made really clear if you are booking a room without. Would have been fine if Dan was functional. TV had no channels. Walls grimy. Bedding, towels and bathroom all clean
